-Sambo is a combination of Judo, jiujitsu, shuai chiao, chin-na, boxing, karate, kickboxing methods, and indigenous slavic and rus fighting arts. From what I've experienced it's very similar to a lot of the Bruce Lee shootfighting material and some of the higher level Krav Maga that I also teach. Very good stuff and what I like most is it's sensibility in body positioning.

Oleg is a master at the whole front roll/leg trap manuver...I am a big fan of takedowns, Freestyle wrestling taught me a lot, but i see the Sambo has a lot to offer as well. nice triangle choke at 1:10 as well.
