Manhattan has been my home for three years now. I live way out on the east side near Gracie Mansion, and if you can believe it, birds chirping woke me up at 4:30 the other morning. Yes, there are very quiet parts of this city.
This place looks nice ive always loved skyscrapers though in the day i think there are too much in the night it looks just right. and it also looks kind of scary too because there are so much people i mean come on i was even pretty uncomfortable with san diego last week cuz there were so much people but i dont .BTW im 12.
Great City, Crime is awful though. New York City is pretty small though compared to Shanghai China. I mean New York City is huge, but the amount of buildings is just a small fraction compared to Shanghai's.
@ITOMIC85 Actually NYC does not have the most high rise building in the world. Hong Kong has more high rise than NYC. Still New York is a great city and I prefer it to Hong Kong.
@ITOMIC85 yeh agreed I live in a small town in England and trust me when i went to New York i felt much safer walkng around at night in NY with officers on every corner than in my small town i live with no police around
does new york have some nice out of the city non urban areas. Next time i visit usa i will be attaching my mountain bike to the rental car so i wont have to walk around on foot. Also my handheld pdawith gps and wifi will make for a hassle free trip.
This pictures are so pretty! I love the Wicked billboard in Times Square! I wish I could've seen the Twin Towers while they were standing. I'm six years too late.
