  • when you say "yaw" you are using this term incorrectly by the way. Yaw is when the tail goes to the left or right. the leaning of the top of the rotor head to one side or the other is "aileron". I was confused at first but figured out what you were meaning to say. coming from a pilot of actual aircrafts.

  • This heli will run circles around anything you can buy at walmart. Even the 4ch airhogs helix 360.... and i believe it also cheaper.

  • MCX2 that is...sorry I have some vids...I've had mine less than a month...see this guys trim adjustment and advanced swashplate videos as well when you get yours...mine was sliding to the right badly unless fully trimmed left from the factory...wasn't hard to properly adjust the servo arms with his video tutorial help

  • Second that...you'll love the cx2...it will take you a bit to get used to 4 channel setup but everything else you progress to will have the same stick arrangement so flying inside is good orientation and handling practice...when it's calm you can do some outdoors flying to....then you'll want a msr ir 120sr...that us where I'm at...also the lights are cool...they should all have them...at night outside they are a gotta have it...they are all yoy can see to go by past 50 ft!

  • @earthling1984 , i've already flown a 3ch heli, should i just skip this and get a blade mcx2?

  • @rockthecatbox21 yes, if you have flown 3ch helis, go for the mcx2

  • Average run time? And could you modify the battery tray to fit a larger battery and if so what battery?

  • @rockthecatbox21 you may be able to modify, flight time about 5mins

  • @dreammoney101 the mSR X BNF Basic version is only $119 currently.

  • @earthling1984 ya but i mean RTF 119.99 )))

  • Why is the msr so much more then this one

  • @dreammoney101 Because unlike the blade scout CX which is a 3channel coaxial helicopter, the mSR is a 4channel fixed pitche helicopter. It requires more skill to fly, but also requires more parts/electronics, and engineering to be made.

  • hey the contest is over pick me i want to post on the contest video but that would be against the rules so i cant but please pick me.

  • @lizardlover1973 hey, contest is over already, i put up winner video but sound quality was horrible so i took it down. winner was benadrylp

  • can you bind this remote to other helis

  • @yoyomaster5203 it is only 3channels, i don't think it would work with many other bnf products from horizon.

  • @earthling1984 well can you bind this to like a dx6i or something

  • @yoyomaster5203 I would think so

  • Just picked one of these up today. I've been having a blast and have put 7 flights on it so far. My 1 1/2 year old son "HAS" to sit in my lap when It's being flown. I put it in beginner mode and let him bang around on the sticks some and he loved it.

  • I learned on a 50.00 dollar helicopter from brookstone and it flies great. It also has lights that can be controlled by the remote. Plus I got a 5 dollar year warranty and I can crash it all I want.

  • I bought it yesterday ( with some extra batteries ) and I love how fast it can go when I remove the beguinner mode , I pull foward with full throttle and it fly so fast it get dangerous to crash it while im using it inside. To me it's a nice RC Heli with a good precision control. I can land it mostly everywhere I want. If you never tried one or want to make an original gift I think it worth the 50$.

  • it fly better than the oter one because it has a swash plate

  • On these micro batteries, if you fly them to L.V.C., will they take a charge.? Someone told me that will fry it, then it's useless...

  • @jetcrasher1 lipos, if drained too far down, can be damaged and not work anymore. If the heli blinks, cut throttle immediately and charge up your lipo, don't over run it. I usually just fly for 5 mins then recharge before it even hits the LVC.

  • Great vid as usual ! I may just have to try to get one to fly around the house

  • Its really nice how blade is getting into the cheaper business but with better quality helicopters! I love flying my Blade CP Pro but I cannot fly it in my house.

I'd love to trade it for an MSR but I'll have to wait on that...

  • lol love it when it fell off and you was like "oh! oh! oh!" bang.. lol

  • Make more videos more often about turtles fish and hedgehogs please!!!!!!!!!:)

  • what the hell is it with eflite and filling holes that didn't need to be filled? all these blade mcpx sr 120, just splash out and get an mcx, having no roll control is only going to hinder you, its just not worth it. If anything this will help engrain into your brain that rudder is on the right stick which is wrong.

All these helicopters that are basically designed to fly themselves with the odd bit of human interaction, it takes all the accomplishment out of being able to fly a helicopter

  • aileron is whats missing. i saw another vid and out of the box its on trainer mode. yes dual rates.

  • @sanuksize45 you are probably right that you can click in the right transmitter stick for a little faster movement.

  • Can I win the ontest if I live in Belgium? :3

  • i call them toys, rc heli's any size, big nitro planes, hell even my pro street gmc s-15 with a 383 i call them all toys, why get mad forcalling them toys. he did not break any of yours, did he?

  • are you the same person asking where your xheli package was while banging on your birds cage ?

  • i have mastered my MCX2. what should my next helicopter be?

  • @skaterjerk9 mSR or 120SR

  • I will enter the contest for sure, i really like airborn things but i cant afford any rite now. lol i am trying to get a tegu XD great videos!! I know i say that alot but i am only stating what is true, and dont listen to haters they r just jelious of ur awesomeness lol

  • @BeardedDragon6991 thanks much! contest video(s) will be up in the next week. I am going to be on vacation the next few days, so they won't be up for somewhere between 5 and 7 days from now, keep a look out!

  • You have yaw, you don't have roll.

  • @B4its2L8guy hmm, ur probably right there.

  • Can you bind it to other dsm2 transmuters?

  • i bought one of those mall copters it was sh*t but amazon has a very good one like that one except it has more metal that is only 19.99 and it works amazingly it is the sima s107

  • my msr is cooler..........

  • I started on a 3 channel, but learnt to fly 4 channel without too much trouble. I think this is very clever marketing from HH because it has just been launched before Christmas and will get many new people hooked on rc flying who maybe wouldn't have even thought about it. And if they've learnt on a Blade heli, chances are they'll progress onto 4 channel Blade helis. Very clever marketing!

  • does that tx work with other blades? like the msr and mcx? also, all these micros need heading lock

  • @shoopwhoopX you know I'm not sure. I'll have to test it soon.

  • @shoopwhoopX the tail holds pretty darn solid.

  • @earthling1984 still, throttling up to gain some altitude to avoid a crash can torque the heli in the other direction, and those few seconds of reorienting the thing can cause you to crash. In short, its crashing because you avoided a crash.

  • Nice video!

  • not bad for its price...awesome vid thx earth

  • i have been against this heli from the beginning. the fact that its 3ch.....means that its a toy. the reason, u know that a 4ch heli has the aileron on the right.....the on this 3ch heli, the rudder is were the aileron should be and there aileron. so when you do get a 4ch heli.....you may as well learn all over again. its a toy i hate it

  • @flyingchimp99 I agree 3ch is different... but if you think how your thinking. 3channel planes also have the controls in different spots then 4ch planes. as in the rudder is on the right stick(where the ailerons are on 4 ch planes). It is still a good learning tool for someone who has never flown before, just like 3ch planes.

  • @earthling1984 i would like to point out the only 3ch anything i like is a boat.....and i hate cars.....3ch planes like 3ch helis, only take away your fear of the new 4ch plane or heli you just got. Thats it, and altough that is great.....going 4ch is the best.....

  • @flyingchimp99 Really? All RC helis are toys. All RC anything are toys lol.

  • @flamingosunlimited ahhh!>?!?!??!?!?? nno nonnononononononnon, THATS WRONG !!! u just insulted a million billion people MAN!!!!, there not toys, they are hobby grade..........things. i cant describe it but a radio shack 29.99 helicoter 2ch or an airhogs heli.....those are toys.

  • @flyingchimp99 Ok then, they are hobby grade toys. If they aren't toys, what are they? They serve no practical purpose. They are "played with" for fun, hence they are toys. You are in denial sir.

  • @flamingosunlimited dude, your way off......thats just wrong, dont evan go there. They are not toys. Toys are for kids. You saying that my club mostly 65 and up plays with toys. And by the way, we fly glow airplanes, u know the big nitro powered planes. Those aren't toys.

  • @flyingchimp99 Say what you need to to make you feel better about your hobby of toys. What is the big deal? I like them too. Nitro? Ok they are still toys for adults then.

  • @flamingosunlimited yoy got it al wrong and you have no respect for the hobby

  • @flyingchimp99 I have respect for the hobby by knowing and saying what it really is. It's a fun hobby. So it involves toys, big deal. I never said it was a bad thing. Why can't you just accept it? Instead of toys you called them "hobby grade..........things." Sounds to me like you are in denial and just don't want to admit it. It's ok, say it with me, "I play with RC toys, and I LIKE IT!"

  • @flamingosunlimited i play with RC TOYS AND I LIKE IT......that was too good to fight over, lol

  • @flyingchimp99 Yay! Are we friends now?

  • @flamingosunlimited dis-agreeing on something doesn't mean we aren't friends.....lol, yes

  • @flamingosunlimited I have to agree. There was a debate on RCtech about the whole is hobby grade RC toys and the general response is yes they are. They are not toys in the sense of like a child's toy, but toys none the less. I refer to all my RC stuff as toys. Heck i know lots of people with 4 wheeler s, snowmobiles and all that kind of stuff and they call all that their toys too. If is serves no general purpose other than to amuse you it is a toy!!!

  • @dirtayj Thank you kind sir!

  • @flyingchimp99 totally agreed ,HORIZONHOBBY ,as serious RC company shouldnt have made this mistake and design it so ,that the rudder is left and aileron right ,,still i would advice people rather to start with a 4 channel coaxial ,or msr rather as this toy ,thats only meant to get people on spectrum radios from start of the hobby ,for 3 channel helis a cheaper one with infrared will do just fine too

  • @flyingchimp99 toy grade rc vs. hobby grade watch?v=49KE4OZVnQ8

  • @benadrylp Thank you! Hopefully that video gets my point across!

  • I have one of these and enjoy it very much.

  • @flamingosunlimited awesome, any other helis?

  • @earthling1984 no this is my first one, and as you stated in the video, it is great for a beginner. Very easy to fly.

  • @flamingosunlimited awesome, try the mcx2 or cx3 next then!

  • Scourt?

  • @flamingosunlimited Thanks dude, fixed before too much embarrassment

  • @earthling1984 I thought you invented a new word!
