Should you wash your hair daily if you also use hair products daily? Like, I do use hair products but I never know if I should wash it off that night or not, because if you don't then you sleep with products still on your hair that's going to stick to your pillow and if you do wash it off then it's bad for your hair as well, I presume(?) because you may not wash it daily.. Ugh dilemma

whats up willy, question is how should i keep my hair up when outside is 85 degrees or hotter, whenever i style my hair (my hairstyle is similar to jonghyan's hairstyel in "lucifer" korean version) after a couple of hours in the sun all of it falls down, when i style it i use a little amount of wax and use hairspray to try to keep it up but it doesnt work, i need help, thanks in advance

@Shawkify Any heat protection product works, I really like CHI because it has no smell, its really up to you in the end though.

@style06com i tried cutting my split ends with thinning scissors, but it just created more. well they arnt really split ends, but just hair ends that are "bent" and it is really hard to use gatsby. (btw i got my split ends because of excessive heat from straightner)

@Radi0Fish oh that makes more sense, are you using a heat protectant? if its bent its because you are not applying an even amount of heat to your hair when you straighten it. Try using less heat when you straighten and straighten one spot more than once, i know its going to be more tedious but its overall better for your hair

@Radi0Fish Hey i have the same problem. when i thin out my hair it gets bent!

i think is that thinning scissors cut your hair like half way so it bends it instead of cutting all the way through. what i suggest is to condition everyday, use less heat on your straightener, and don't rough up your hair so don't ruffle your hair when towel drying because they'll bend and snap your hair.

@jarren1030 tell them to not cut your side bangs, if your sides get too long tell your barber to cut the sides but ignore the sideburns (tell him you want to grow it out he'll understand)

@style06com Pantene is actually really bad for your hair. I might sound kinda dumb cuz I can't exactly remember why but my mom is a professional hairstylist and she told me. Plus I've seen other like articles on the web and stuff. Just saying, not trying to be like a know it all or anything haha

My hair roots naturally grow outwards not down, so my hair is naturally puffy and I can't seem to get my hair down, e.g. on the sides and looks pretty weird cuz it sticks outwards rather than staying to the side of my head and going downwards. Any advice for keeping hair down?

@MrJuitman OMG SAME someone please reply!!!! when my sides grow out, it sticks out, everytime i try to put products on it and sweat, it just flies back out!

@MrJuitman many asians have the same hair problem. the only thing to do is to use product to flatten the sides, however, you need to keep it at a long enough length (at least an inch). this looks better and is more effective if you get the sides layered and thinned out as well.
