  • Mate when you put reps/weigh in to the worksheet p90x, what you put in weights if u using bands? Do you put cloro of the band lol, or you u put weight of resistance band the band do bring it, coz i really dont like them because when i say need more weight i have to stuck them together, but then for another exersize i need to take one off etc, jeeeez its takes time and i lose tempo, but got no money for the adustable weights, help me to et the idea, i got bodylasticks bands..

  • @involverrrrr Well the green resistance band I use is 40 lbs so if I were to put info on a P90x worksheet it would be 40 lbs resistance then however many sets and reps you do.

  • P90X is OK, but the bands they sell are terrible, cheaply made and offer little resistance in my opinion, they dont feel anything like they should, more for girls. I have however found a set that DOES offer high resistance, and quality is like 100x better than the official p90x bands, google ElastiTone, they are the best bands, you wont regret it! Used by PRO rugby players now also according to the site and a lifetime guarantee, for under £40. They are really thick and heavy duty parts.

  • @redv8jeep the negative portion is where more muscle is broken down. This being said it more applies to weights because your strength curve is weakest at the beginning. With bands it's the top so the isolation at the top is more important. That being said you go slow on the way down you will still get some of the benefits of the negative

  • This Is retarded the bands aren't even hard to sholder press or bicep curl and the black band is the hardest one and lol his arms aren't even big plus the resistance isn't hard so tht means it's like lifting a light weight so it really doesn't make ur arms bigger u retard it makes them toned...that why women use them because they don't want to put muscle on...LOL

  • @sephvalarius no green is 7lb of resistance do you research, I work in orthopedic physical therapy and I'm a personal trainer, green is 7lb of resistance I have a crap load of resistance band and I teach it, look up gorilla strength resistance bands or therapy band for green its 7lb of resistance.

  • @sephvalarius I went through physio therapy a few years back and had a green and a blue band. I'm gonna try to avoid joining an argument, but honestly, neither of them felt anywhere near 40lbs. I had never worked out a day of my life at that time and could easily bicep curl either of the 2 bands. When i started working out after i got better, i started off with 15lbs on biceps and TBH at the time i found it hard to use. Now i use 50lbs per arm on concentration curl. Nothing like the bands

  • you forgot to mention that when you on the down motion you dont let the muscle relax, just go down just as far as it dont reach the relaxation point... because if you leave it loose down you missing the whole 3 sec purpose...
