ah man, I just bought a Nikon "Coolpix" L120 as my first camera.. Yeah it's good and all but it's very limited in it's capabilities, as the only way to shoot photos is with the preset modes. It has good quality but if I would've known I could get a Canon like the one mentioned in the video for about the same price ($350) then I would've bought it instead. Oh well ):

What would you recommend for a wide angle/ fisheye lens for shooting my vacation to Mexico? I'm thinking the Rockinon 8mm would be nice because there's no vignetting. Also, I have a T2i [crop sensor.]

Hey Eric, first off, love you and this series! I wanna give my two cents on why I think the series ISN'T getting a lot of views. I personally think that's it's because you talk specifically about the photos, like lighting and shutter speed etc. I don't know anything about photography and doubt the vast majority of your viewers do. I just don't understand what the heck you're talking about! I like looking at the photos but don't really like the specifics about photography, I prefer the STORIES!

I have a canon eos 450d which is a cracking starter camera and very easy to use. I use one lense which is a sigma 55-200mm lense with image stabilization. I got both in the uk and a 16gb card for about £550 from a decent, reliable 2nd hand trader. I very strongly recommend! They also feel tough!

Dammit! i just ordered a Nikon D5100 with a 55-200mm f/4-5.6G Lens right before i saw this video O.O but i still think its a great camera right? what do you think?

PS are you a free lancer when it comes to photography or do you have like a sole-trader type business?

@unknownTacticz It is a great camera. The lens isn't bad too. I would suggest adding a wide angle and a prime lens to your arsenal. The 18-55mm f3.5 is a well priced wide angle and the 35mm f1.8 and 50mm f1.8 are great prime lenses, well priced too. Most photographers will stick to one trader as it makes buying more convenient and adaptors aren't exactly the most reliable things in the world. This isn't from Eric but I am an enthusiast myself and I hope this helped^^

PS D5100 is a great camera.

@unknownTacticz Yeah, the sensor on the thing is fantastic. Inherited for the D7000. And for the effects it depends on what you're going for. The only one I use is B&W, which I use in camera. I generally dislike post processing. It's all preference based.

@MrTenaciousTroy Do you edit your photos? You don't really need filters if you do that. Shoot raw and get yourself an editing program like adobe lightroom. You can get some amazing colours.
