i loooooove your videos i was wondering if you had any puff adders i love the way they look really beutifull snake and that gaboon is absolutely amazing
amazing coloration, I can't believe its letting you put that thing in its mouth and that it understands to drink, my boa retracts when you put anything near its mouth
What an awesome video, can't believe you are basically giving a gaboon viper a sip out of a juice box! hahahahaa.... you can see the back of her head moving as she drinks!
nice gaboooooooooon! in the background of the first few minutes, the cage on the bottom with the green snake in it.. what species? lol and belly dancing taipan she sheds FAST too!
The gabby looks like it has strips of masking tape on its back i know it doesn't, didn't itend you wasting your time responding to me. For some reason came up on the new stuff on my page.
I Love snakes myself, I just for the life of me can not figure out where you get the guts to own and handle them, I have a salmon boa and a ball python, I feel safe with them, their bites cannot inject any venom into my blood stream :) please, don't get me wrong, even my mild love of snakes is looked upon as odd, not that yours is odd, I just don't understand your courage to love them so close up :) anyways, great video and thank you for sharing this with us!
Beautiful babies you have! I adore them, but don't own any. I am not 100% comfortable handling them so I just enjoy others snakes. I applaude your work, and your attitude toward them. They are pets, that can kill you without a second thought.
@bamakayaker1 She doesn't move because she is nervous in a new enviroment and isn't sure if she is being threatened. Having a large warm blooded animal circle you would be terrifing. Any human can be seen as a threat as we have such a large heat signature.
In all seriousness I want to ask what is it about venomous snakes that has made you want to collect them and keep them? I know that some of them have a certain beauty and that they are interesting creatures, but the very obvious dangers involved in handling them would dissuade most people from doing so. Personally, I'd be too afraid of them to want to get close to them at all without a strong pane of glass between myself and the snake. Has this been a lifelong pursuit of yours? Just wondering.
i really admire snakes, this one has the most incredible markings ive ever seen-truly took my breath away. I hope to own a snake one day but i dont know enough about keeping them yet. Thanks for letting us have an insight into your life with these lovely reptiles, your enthusiasm is infectious
how come the snake didnt strike at you?? i own a few snakes but wouldnt get to own and venomous snakes i heard you have to have like 2200 hours to keep thoose kinds of snakes is that true??
I can't believe that anyone who knew ANYTHING about venomous snakes would get down on his KNEES with their face less than 12 inches away from a Gaboon Viper's head!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@Merlinever He's been doing this for over 30 years and knows what he can do and when he can do it, but even so, I know what you mean...made me whence as well :P
I personally have an issue with people who own snakes and other animals from other countries because of the risk of them escaping and interrupting the habitat of indigenous animals. We now have Pythons, monitor lizards and Cobras in FL thanks to people who can't just admire and appreciate these animals at the zoo.
@boxofweedmw2haxed There are no such thing as a Poisonous snakes only venomous ones I don't make any recommendations because there are no venomous snakes with training wheels!
man, are u crazy? a single bite can only let u live for 3hrs and less. Even us Africans who live in the same hood with these stuffs are afraid of them. The more u go closer to them the shorter ur life span. Beware!!!!
Ya Know If your small Tiapan and brown snake were free they would seek out rock or structure conducive to helping them shed. Your enclosures look pretty (to people) but what freaking good are they if your animals don't feel truly at home? Put a low pile of rough cornered rocks in these cages when shed time comes around. The Gabby is awesome...I donated a very similar one to the Norfolk Zoo 14 years ago. (VA)
That new gabby of yours is absolutely stunning! I love watching your videos and seeing how you handle your snakes with such care and respect. Keep it going- I love seeing updates from you!

@viperkeeper yeah your absolutely right, most of the hateful comments come from the non-reptile community and people that are uneducated... funny comment the other day my grandma came by to visit me and she hates snake with a passion so we always get into it over them lol but she refers to the biblical references and said that snakes serve her no purpose and god should kill them all lmao i tried explaining that not every animal was put here to serve man and that we had no right 2 kill them cont.
@viperkeeper they've and almost all animals were here long before man ever was in here, but she believes the earth is 2000 years old and carbindating and basically what we call science and technology is the devils work unless its in the medical field, very close minded, love the vids tho and keep up the good work.
ps you ever milked any of your snakes or worked in any zoos?
