  • i loooooove your videos i was wondering if you had any puff adders i love the way they look really beutifull snake and that gaboon is absolutely amazing

  • amazing coloration, I can't believe its letting you put that thing in its mouth and that it understands to drink, my boa retracts when you put anything near its mouth

  • 15:57

  • sausage????? lol!

  • beautiful snake

    I loved watching the shed!

  • What an awesome video, can't believe you are basically giving a gaboon viper a sip out of a juice box! hahahahaa.... you can see the back of her head moving as she drinks!

  • nice gaboooooooooon! in the background of the first few minutes, the cage on the bottom with the green snake in it.. what species? lol and belly dancing taipan she sheds FAST too!

  • @pythonmajestic Green Mambas

  • @viperkeeper well, beautiful are they :D

  • Damn, those things creep me out. This is about as close as I would ever want to get.

  • im an avid snake hater but damn that thing is beautiful

  • Why do you put 3" strips of masking tape on her back?

  • @panoptes1 I have not watched this video in 3 yrs, what are you talking about?

  • The gabby looks like it has strips of masking tape on its back i know it doesn't, didn't itend you wasting your time responding to me. For some reason came up on the new stuff on my page.

  • @viperkeeper I think that panoptes1 is trying to make some kind of joke about the gaboonvipers markings, the video does not content any masking tape.

    Really funny joke... NOT!

  • @viperkeeper Its a idiot trying to make a funny comment on the markings of your snake. And they failed.

  • @panoptes1 thats her desgin lol..........

  • @panoptes1 thats the snakes body not masking tape..........

  • @panoptes1 Is that a joke? or are you that retarded?

  • @panoptes1 those are just her markings!! haha

  • I Love snakes myself, I just for the life of me can not figure out where you get the guts to own and handle them, I have a salmon boa and a ball python, I feel safe with them, their bites cannot inject any venom into my blood stream :) please, don't get me wrong, even my mild love of snakes is looked upon as odd, not that yours is odd, I just don't understand your courage to love them so close up :) anyways, great video and thank you for sharing this with us!

  • i do know what gender i am lol

  • whats the point of owning a venomous snake? You'll never be able to touch them. Thats just a waste of money

  • @nickkyson Stop talking about my ex-wife like that....

  • @nickkyson get a blowjob from your dog and marry it.

  • @nickkyson owning animals isnt all about touching them u know, at least he talks and cares about them

  • viper keeper is the snake whisperer :D

But serious Al your my hero!

  • Beautiful babies you have! I adore them, but don't own any. I am not 100% comfortable handling them so I just enjoy others snakes. I applaude your work, and your attitude toward them. They are pets, that can kill you without a second thought.

  • Still struggling with why this snake doesn't move.

  • @bamakayaker1 She doesn't move because she is nervous in a new enviroment and isn't sure if she is being threatened. Having a large warm blooded animal circle you would be terrifing. Any human can be seen as a threat as we have such a large heat signature.

  • In all seriousness I want to ask what is it about venomous snakes that has made you want to collect them and keep them? I know that some of them have a certain beauty and that they are interesting creatures, but the very obvious dangers involved in handling them would dissuade most people from doing so. Personally, I'd be too afraid of them to want to get close to them at all without a strong pane of glass between myself and the snake. Has this been a lifelong pursuit of yours? Just wondering.

  • pink floyd FTW!!

  • wow that is a lovely gabon viper..

  • I hate snakes. yuck!!

  • it is absolutely gorgeous

  • It looked faked when he brought it out! lol

  • she is absolutely stunning. I would not have gotten within striking distance, though

  • why why would you stay so close to her.. you don't have tooo

  • lol i love that he says force feeding King Cobra.. Looks instantly into the camera haha

  • i really admire snakes, this one has the most incredible markings ive ever seen-truly took my breath away. I hope to own a snake one day but i dont know enough about keeping them yet. Thanks for letting us have an insight into your life with these lovely reptiles, your enthusiasm is infectious

  • how come the snake didnt strike at you?? i own a few snakes but wouldnt get to own and venomous snakes i heard you have to have like 2200 hours to keep thoose kinds of snakes is that true??

  • @562bitchkilla I was not food or perceived a threat. Not in my State so far.

  • @562bitchkilla was 2 busy drinking and trying to remember the lyrics to its favorite pink Floyd song

  • @562bitchkilla what state do live in to have that regulation?

  • "Well, that's two of us cause I don't trust you." hahaha, that made me chuckle.

  • Isn't this the snake you do not wanna get tagged by?

  • do you also have vipera berus ?

  • @Ravaltasar No, It's a protected species.

  • I can't believe that anyone who knew ANYTHING about venomous snakes would get down on his KNEES with their face less than 12 inches away from a Gaboon Viper's head!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I couldn't watch this....

  • @Merlinever He's been doing this for over 30 years and knows what he can do and when he can do it, but even so, I know what you mean...made me whence as well :P

  • gorgeous animals.

    I enjoyed your video

  • what is the least venomous snake you own

  • @HINuCleAr Night Adders

  • I personally have an issue with people who own snakes and other animals from other countries because of the risk of them escaping and interrupting the habitat of indigenous animals. We now have Pythons, monitor lizards and Cobras in FL thanks to people who can't just admire and appreciate these animals at the zoo.

  • @buythefrog What about the millions of feral cats and dogs doing far more damage to the ecosystem all around the country?

  • @snipesnrifles Oh so its cool to just add to an already out of control problem and make it horribly worse?

  • your so good with them!!

  • after watching your video "say ahhhh" i cannot believe how close you are to that gaboon.

  • @Marktim84 Not even close.

  • @viperkeeper - So humble, for a guy with balls of steal!!! ;) I love viperkeeper!

  • @7:04 who wins the staring contest?

  • dude, that is an amazing animal. So Gorgeous!

  • how many times have you been bitten if any at all

  • very very nice bitis gaboon! great colours!

  • I honestly flinched when you stepped in front of it

  • getting into this hobby what poisonis snake would u recomend for a beginner liek for poisonis snake wise lol

  • @boxofweedmw2haxed There are no such thing as a Poisonous snakes only venomous ones I don't make any recommendations because there are no venomous snakes with training wheels!

  • Do you have any non venomous snakes?

  • @GARAHEAD No

  • This Gaboon is extremely beautiful colored.

    An extraordinary creature of nature.

Take care mate, hope you´ll never have an incident...

  • thumbs up for mister brown :DDD

  • man, are u crazy? a single bite can only let u live for 3hrs and less. Even us Africans who live in the same hood with these stuffs are afraid of them. The more u go closer to them the shorter ur life span. Beware!!!!

  • Hats off to you for getting that close to that gorgeous, dangerous creature. But one day you're going to get too close and feel it's wrath...

  • @DenaeG88 Goes with the territory.

  • Your videos are awsome the bitis gabonica is beautifull but I don't want one

  • Ya Know If your small Tiapan and brown snake were free they would seek out rock or structure conducive to helping them shed. Your enclosures look pretty (to people) but what freaking good are they if your animals don't feel truly at home? Put a low pile of rough cornered rocks in these cages when shed time comes around. The Gabby is awesome...I donated a very similar one to the Norfolk Zoo 14 years ago. (VA)

  • @logicustorule I find you hard to believe ;P

  • Your crotch seemed alarmingly close to that viper's face at some points aha. You are a brave man, Gorgeous animal.

  • Wow, you do have a lot more space now. I don't feel comfortable keeping hots, but if I did it would be Gaboons.

  • you are mighty brave my sir. i stick with my ball pythons. haha

  • This guy is nuts get that close. The snake could of bite. Don't try this at home people.

  • Do they usually get so heavy bodied??

  • That new gabby of yours is absolutely stunning! I love watching your videos and seeing how you handle your snakes with such care and respect. Keep it going- I love seeing updates from you!

  • That is the biggest viper i have ever seen! Cool

  • my favorite venomous snake is the fat ass Gaboon :)

  • I'm not sure if you have ever met Tom Crutchfield, but he has some beautiful vipers called Mangshens vipers. You should check them out.

  • @REPTILEsk8r900 Yes I know him and have Mangs myself

  • oh my god wat a beautiful gaboon :) if they not was one of the most venomus snnakes in the world i would love to keep a pair of these. once again beautiful.

  • oh my god wat a beautiful gaboon :) if they not was one of the most venomus snnakes in the world i would love to keep a pair of these. once again beautiful.

  • I can't believe that gaboon let you squirt water down its throat without flinching. what a good girl

  • @8BitBastard Don't try it at home!

  • @viperkeeper Also snakes dont speak English lol

  • Hey Viperkeeper. Im unsure if this is true at all but i was watching the Most Extreame snakes and the Typan was said to be very shy even though it has the most Deadly of venom. Is this true? Are your typans aggressive? Thanks and love your videos.

  • Hey Viperkeeper. Im unsure if this is true at all but i was watching the Most Extreame snakes and the Typan was said to be very shy even though it has the most Deadly of venom. Is this true? Are your typans aggressive?

  • These are some of the most beautiful snakes I've seen.

    I'm glad you're still around.

  • You'se've probably heard it all before but I for one am @ 2:00

  • fascinating.

  • i love reptiles but ain't gutsy to keep the venomous ones still they are remarkably beautiful animals patterns love the shed part when my lizards used to shed my mom used to call it their"elvis" coat when they were shedding cause of the white collar they'd get going on there. haha. that gaboon has some pretty patterns btw

  • You're insane… in a good way. I love your shirt.

  • So do you enjoy working with vipers or elapids more? Why?

  • not too be disrespecful i love your vids but.. isnt it a little bit of a stupid idea too put ur face right in the striking range of a highly venomous snake :/

  • couldn't dream of keeping venomous snakes lol, ive got a ball python and thats enough for me, good work though !

  • DSOTM. hell yeah!

  • Why do you get so close to it?

  • @MSChelsey1988 Because I can.

  • cos hes a boss!!!!

    @MSChelsey1988

  • @MSChelsey1988 They tend to be one of the more laid back vipers, BUT they are hemotoxic and incredibly dangerous... Like the gentleman said, ONLY trained professionals should handle them

  • do u know if its a coastal or inland taipan?

  • @TheScorpiokorea It's O. canni from Papua.

  • @viperkeeper oh thats cool i only know of the coastal and inland taipan. thats interesting that there are more species.

  • @TheScorpiokorea 4 species known at this time. The western or desert taipan was just discovered a few years ago.

  • @viperkeeper oh that very fascinating i like snakes alot.

  • pink floyd nice shirt

  • OPA...My favourite snake!!!

  • You are one brave guy.I`m gonna be getting one of those tomorrow. Could you give me some ideas how do take care of them. I got some tips from other people. You look like you know more. Hope you don`t mind me asking.

  • @GreydeErik Which one?

  • @GreydeErik African Gaboon.

  • @GreydeErik Watch my videos

  • @viperkeeper Thanks for the help. I`ll be watching alot of videos. Thanks so much.

  • LoL, maybe it's just me but I pretty sure Gaboon's venom is some really nasty shit that can cause some irreversible damage and I've heard about how mild the snakes can be but is it really a good idea for you to be putting you face right there?

  • I was wondering, rubbing against the rock and the ground, to shed, doesn't that hurt when they hit that lower level of skin, and what if they peel more then one layer?

  • @Attila2452126 I doubt it....I bet it feels good to get rid of the old skin.

  • @Attila2452126 I doubt it....I bet it feels good to get rid of the old skin.

  • stunning snake i love gaboon vipers. the top of her head looks like a butterfly. hole snake just wow.

  • Its a pity the most stunning snakes are the venomous ones :p

  • @viperkeeper thank you,i have been critcized like crazy on here because i askked what are my chances of surviving if i get bit

  • i just bought a baby gaboon viper wish me luck

  • @rmraiders24 Be careful and good luck.

  • @rmraiders24 Dude you'd better pray he does not bite you if he does, you are gonna die

  • ehhts a pretty snakkee buhh still hatee them !

  • The first snake is damn pretty! And the others are really pretty too (:

  • Is watering like this something thats usually only done for new snakes or venomous ones? I have a California Kingsnake and am fairly well read when it comes to keeping non-venomous snakes, and I've never heard of it.

  • hey mate, isnt that too close to give her the drink? Just wondering.

  • @LetsDanceGermany Yes, it's close.

  • so is the gaboons venom stronger than the black mambas since its effect is a little faster?

  • @TakeyoLifebitch Mamba venom is more toxic drop for drop, however, Gaboons make up for that by injecting a huge amount in a single bite.

  • magnifique viper du Gabon !!!

  • I like that band Pink Floyd. I respect you

  • The gaboon os the most beautiful and the most deadly ask austin stevens i watched him get some venom from one of these beauties and he was scared as no doubt i would be shittin why are u so close to that snake it looked like u were only one foot away and if she bit u well u know the results in five to ten minutes

  • I was terrified watching the video, you were so close !

  • What a fat snake.....

    and dangerous too.....

  • Oh, and you're amazing!!!!!

  • PINK FLOYD FTW!!!!!

  • the most beautiful snake in the world !! Not that agressive, but when they bite ...........

  • Gaboon viper are definitely the most beautiful snake in the world! Do you still have this little beauty?

  • Why is it that you have to water the Gaboon? Can it not drink like any other snake?

  • @thepxckid Because I know they're drinking then.

  • @viperkeeper is there a possibility that they dont drink? i mean... they often dont eat... but i have never heard that they also dont drink...

  • @7muktar They always drink

  • That footage of the Taipan shedding was simply fantastic. Thank you for posting....

  • I respect you for many reasons. However, here, you absolutely, in my opinion, push the envelope. Gaboons, whom can strike with great accuracy in ANY direction, from a complete stand still (LIKE THIS) would have put you in that life or death situation at a moments notice. Correction, sir, NO NOTICE!!! Please don't misunderstand me, I love your work and will always watch as I too, learn from you and others with more experience than I

  • @UGOMANGO12 Yes, I know all of this.

  • @UGOMANGO12 Shut the fuck up.............push the envelope my ass

  • i saw that u got a king cobra knowing that they eat other snakes . so what do u feed yours ?

  • @cobra71000 Rats

  • @viperkeeper

don't you love people that ask stupid ?'s without reading the description? I'm referring to cobra7100.

  • @77bigdave It happens all of the time!

  • do you feed your snakes live mouse?????

  • @spirit1990breaker Not usually.

  • such beautiful snakes i love snakes my self i have a female california banded king snake she is a very sweet snake i really love all your snakes they r very pretty

  • wow, that is the most beautiful snake i have ever seen

  • arent u afraid of getting bit? i would be

  • Props to you man, the gaboon is a BEAUTIFUL snake, truly gorgeous. I have a ball python, and like snakes but wouldn't be able to keep venomous snakes I'd be scared out of my mind about potentially getting bit. Do you have anti-venom for all your snakes?

  • @alinzana Most but not all

  • you should breed that snake and then when you get the babys you should sell them sell them to science

  • Such a beautiful snake. Do you collect any venom from any of your snakes?

  • @Surfingninja9 Not usually

  • That is one gorgeous gaboon!! Well cared for!

  • crazy collection i got a little collection of non-venomous ones balls corns etc. but nothing like this exellent collection, wow still fasinated by viperkeeppers collection how the fuck can this vid have 8 dislikes

  • @MrBbrooks23 Jellious people

  • @viperkeeper yeah your absolutely right, most of the hateful comments come from the non-reptile community and people that are uneducated... funny comment the other day my grandma came by to visit me and she hates snake with a passion so we always get into it over them lol but she refers to the biblical references and said that snakes serve her no purpose and god should kill them all lmao i tried explaining that not every animal was put here to serve man and that we had no right 2 kill them cont.

  • @viperkeeper they've and almost all animals were here long before man ever was in here, but she believes the earth is 2000 years old and carbindating and basically what we call science and technology is the devils work unless its in the medical field, very close minded, love the vids tho and keep up the good work.

ps you ever milked any of your snakes or worked in any zoos?

  • omg so this is when you got gabby???? amazing this is my fav in your collection

  • @112887db Not Gabby
