It's crazy how the chemistry between the three of them seemed great, but the decision was still made to not bring Terrence Howard back for the sequel. They were even openly talking about War Machine, probably knowing even then that he wouldn't be back. Amazing how things can seem good on the surface, but there was apparently more going on underneath that audiences couldn't see.

There's a lot of subtle humor and a word or two being exchanged that's deceivingly escaping the apparent nature, environment or the mood of the room. Its this weird tension and often racially driven comments being passed by Downey and by the african american gentleman to his left while the guy on the far right tries to maintain civility to the best of his ability.
