  • I'm trilled to hear those claps next to the name of Toussaint Louverture (go to the wikipedia, white people).

  • He couldn't have said half of what he said in a white audience. White americans turn to amerikkkans when you tell them the truth about America's role in the world and shock their "first democracy, leader of the free world, peak of western civilization" fantasy.

  • Richmond, Virginia's finest brother. Very well spoken, and a true brother.

  • I have read all 5 of Mr. Robinson's books. I have emailed him and he was so kind as to respond. I have a Son named Mandela and a Son named Biko. I have been in his countenance. He is 'all that and a bag of chips'!!! Internalize this Champion of Truth and Justice !!!

  • He's so right about that no good racist Clinton.

  • This is still controlled bullshit. Look up Taj Tarik Bey and the Emacipation Proclamation and he will tell you the TRUTH. These people are still puppets.

  • its funny how the black union is advertising exxon mobile, wtf

  • He embrace education!

  • Telling us to critically think gets a lot of us upset which is why this country is going under right now.

  • TEACH!!!

  • :) i hope i stayed on subject enough

    oh yeah about clinton...*clears throat*

Republicans and democrats whats the difference ? ummm NOTHING one is red and one is blue wow WELL they ALL work for the SAME elitists psshh they dont even own our CURRENCY! lol

  • Preach it.

  • R.R. speaks the truth. I lived in Central Africa, where Clinton's blind eye did more harm than any other place in the world. And Af-Am's loved him. I met Mrs. Aristide 7 years ago. She's an amazing woman, and was a great First Lady for Haiti. We owe Haiti so much, as we (Black Americans) owe Africa. We just don't know. We're so ignorant. READ, BLACK PEOPLE! EDUCATE YOUR MINDS!

  • WoW Mr. Robinson blow Clinton up!!!!!

  • I know, right?..homeboy, put his ass on blast. Put all his shit out on Front Street. Im like, "Damn!!"

  • Finally, The same real GOD that gave others a mind get it to us. The Clintons were lairs and they played the black community and the black synagaues of gentle like a fiddle. Robinson is right and the truth is here whether you like it our not.

  • Futher, If others are the authority about their history, we are the authority about ours. we brought into 2000 years of propoganda, and 60 years failing to see the masters behind the civil and gender right. The same ones they gave us a depression in 1933 are the same one who ushered in this depression of 2009. We can't know what is hidden unless you seek and then you shall fine.

  • crownpleeza, tell us where is the scienific evident that the holocast, which means "burnt offering" that the Hebrews offered to their gods for future blessing, acutally took place. People said it did, books supported it, and we beleive it as fact. Yet when Randall Robinson speak out about the group that "love to rule" you question it.

  • I'd just like to read a news source on these suicides of banana farmers in St Vincent that he mentioned. I couldn't find any on the internet.

  • That's not an objection. That's a confession. You need to keep looking.

  • If you can't lay credence to what he is saying, pls refrain yourself from making inane comments.

  • Does Randall Robinson acknowledge that Haiti has had one dictatorship after another starting with Toussaint L'Ouverture? Dictatorships are what's hurting Haiti. Also can anyone find a caribbean or other news source on those suicides he mentioned by the St Vincent banana farmers? I can't find nothing on this beyond what Robinson says.

  • Who placed those dictators in office? Duvalier, probably Ayiti's most ruthless dictator in its history, received unwavering support from the then U.S government.

And Toussaint was not a dictator. In fact, Toussaint never had a chance to govern the Republic of Ayiti. You shouldn't comment on what you don't know.

  • I've seen several sources that mention Toussaint implementing military rule in Haiti.

    Google:

    Madison-Smartt-Bell Adam-Hochschild

Adam Hochschild reviews a bio on Toussaint that touches on his contradictions as a leader.

  • Your source is wrong with respect to this fact, period! Toussaint was dragooned off to the alps by the French during the stuggle for independence, where he died not too long after. Toussaint never got to see the Republic of Ayiti. Jean-jacque Dessalines was Ayiti's first Emperor.

As a souce, try "The Black Jacobins" by CLR James.

    Mr. Robinson is speaking facts.

  • Toussaint controlled Haiti for about five years from 1797-1802. During this time he wrote a constitution declaring himself "governor for life". Dessalines who came afterwards was known for being an autocratic ruler also. Haiti seems to have a history of autocratic rulers going back to these two even though they ended French control.

  • Comment removed

  • You fail to reason within the vicinity of sensibility and rationality. You can't extract a single statement about Toussaint and Dessalines and make a travesty of it. If you need to lecture us, pls you need to walk more accurately; objectively, not subjectively. The only reason why Dessalines made himself "governor for life," was because he knew and believed that if he remained in power, the recalcitrant french would be unable to reintroduce slavery as they did in cohort with the mullatos.

  • Google what? I don't indulge myself in googling inaccurate and incomplete articles online. I go to the library to get my facts from reputable and verifiable sources.

  • Where have you looked for the information about the Haitian farmers? Have you called any Haitian newspapers? Have you spoken to any Haitians? Here is an easy solution. Follow the motherf@#&in money. Research the Banana Companies and then come back.

  • This is about banana farmers in St Vincent not Haiti.

  • This is my first time hearing Randall Robinson and I love what he is saying.

  • He's a great mind. I recommend his books.

  • Randall Robinson

Is the Real Deal I love his quote about Beyonce

"Seing them make want to be smart."

  • love this guy because he has no time for bullshit. His approach, on a panel where a couple of those black intellects, supported and helped put Clinton in office, was to tell it like it is and like it was. Love him..

  • Hit it, Mr. Robinson. Most people don't know what you talkin' 'bout.

  • Yes Intellectually stimulating.

However the former President of Haiti was also responsible for social unrest as an elected leader of Haiti.

He was not, is not, and can never be seen as an honorable man. Millions of Dollars of foreign assistance was stolen by him and his wife. Thousands of Men Women and Children died unnecessarily because of former President Aristide.

  • What do you know about Haiti and its former president?

  • Wow! This is so beautiful.... I'm intellectually aroused so much right now.

  • Mr. Robinson you dropped some serious knowledge on the hypocrisy of Tavis and some others when it comes down to President Clinton. President Clinton was not good for African Americans or other Blacks around the world. I hope people start opening their eyes. Thank you.
