I hated when this happened (quite a few times) to me. Eventually went with a Gen 3 EFI so no more annoying AFM problems. Nice sounding 2 you've got yourself.
I did figure it out. One of the silicone couplers popped off the intake tubing, so the engine wasn't pulling air through the AFM. Once I spotted that, it was a simple roadside fix.
