the faster you hit a and b in the running events c with the hurdles and swimming the faster you go, and on hitting up during diving and down on the way down, diving and u get best score, and aim fast shoot fast in archery

this game was awesome ,ah great memoriesof button bashing come flooding back - especially on the hurdles event lol ,sonic and olympic gold were the two free games i got when i bought my first sega mega drive / circa 1992 , loved this game , the high diving was hard at first , but once you mastered it ,then it was great fun , and ended up being my fav event

when i play this 14 years ago, in the 100meters race, i tapped the buttons with some techniques that made my fingers almost skinless lolol..beyond that point i used a lighter to slide within the buttons...that was fast ! sorry bout the bad english. Not a native speaker.

Your english is actually much better than most of the native speakers on youtube. My technique is to hold the controller sideways and tap A and B with both thumbs. Works quite well.
