  • returns had a crappy story and people liked it

  • There are FAR MORE IMPORTANT things in life than whether a film was "impressive" to the most SPOILED people in Human history (white suburbia in America).

  • Superman IV is crap.

  • @Returnofthejedi1000

  • "I had seen a television show in Boston. Children were talking about what it is like to grow up in the ATOMIC age. At the same time, people were saying that I had the attention of the kids and that I should take advantage of that, so I said, OK, here's a way to consider this topic. I needed the motivation to really want to play Superman again."

  • MrHeslopian, I know you're too retarded to grasp this simple concept, but this movie IS as much a form of anti-nuclear activism as "going on marches and supporting the cause," as you put it. YOUR sole CONcern is being able to turn your nose up at something and BITCH about this movie's TRIVIAL flaws, which is typical of being SPOILED by white privilege ...

... as soon as yo' dumb ass realizes that life is NOT an episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000, you'll finally evolve.

  • This here is definitely a poor excuse for a sequel,I mean Golan/Globus had to get involved with this project?for years they have been producing low budget hits and misses and finally they've achieved a 'miss' with this one!The previous Superman movies were over 2 hours, but this shitty-ass sequel only last for a lousy 90 minutes;what a fuckin' waste of time and money!

  • @maestrochulo Yeah, Golan Globus originally offered $40 million to make this movie. Then they cut the budget to $17 million - it's no wonder it looks like shit! Considering the 1978 original cost $50 million, in order to stand out and look impressive in 1987 they needed to invest more in the region of $70 million. If only Christopher Reeve had been treated with respect and the script shot the way it was written, it might have been a great film!

  • Can people please stop responding to NukeYourHometown? He obviously doesn't give a shit about nuclear disarmament. If he did he'd be going on marches and supporting the cause instead of whining about how some long-forgotten movie isn't being taken seriously. He's clearly just a sad Superman fanboy. He'd probably crap on about white privilege if you insulted the previous three films. I've tried reasoning with him and you just can't. Make yourself a happier person and ignore NukeYourHometown.
