Ron Paul is a genuine Christian who tries to live like Jesus Christ. He goes to a church in a dumpy Texas town called Lake Jackson. How do I know this? I have family who lives there and goes to church with him. Most politicians flaunt and brag about their religion, but Ron Paul doesn't act superior or holier than thou. Using your religion as a crutch to enhance your political career is selfish and not to mention, it shows that your motives are in the wrong place on a spiritual level.
The term "Christian Conservative" is an oxymoron. Jesus taught socialism. Anyone who doesn't know that either doesn't know what socialism is or doesn't know Jesus.
I am for Ron Paul. With him we have a chance to save the sovereinty of the US. The new amnesty propsal is a slap in the face to every AMERICAN. Who needs a govenment that discriminates against it's own citizens. What makes illegals so special that they get special treatment over Americans, like the in-state tuition. Our representatives that are for this are UNAMERICAN.
oh yeah and i'm so glad FOX had their loyal 70 yr old Bush loving supporters in the crowd. All Rudy has to say is "9/11" and the morons start clapping. Rudy is no f'ng hero!!! The firefighters and cops desperating trying to rescue people were the true heroes, not you Mr.Guliani.
I'm not a big fan of Wolfie, but compared to the interviewing tactics of Sean Hannity, Wolf looks like a class-act. As for Ron Paul, he is 100% right. You can't keep policing the Middle East year after year and not expect them to get pissed off and retaliate. Let them take care of themselves, screw'em.
Guiliani is a pure scumbag. He's a left-wing wacko who doesn't know what he's talking about. Ron Paul walked right into the "9/11" trap. It was a complete and total set-up to nail him.
Giuliani needs to apologize to the American people for his false patriotism, and for not taken proper care of the 9/11 first responders that inhaled asbestos.
If we stuck to the Constitution as written, we would have: no federal meddling in our schools; no Federal Reserve; no U. S. membership in the U.N.; no gun control; and no foreign aid. We would have no welfare for big corporations. "No American troops in 100 foreign countries; no Nafta, GATT, or "fast-track"; no arrogant federal judges usurping states rights; no attacks on private property; and no income tax.
Ron Paul has his place in the national debate in reminding Americans of their rights and liberties as citizens. But he has no business being anywhere NEAR a decision-making capacity in the war against islamist fascism.
When 21st century dirty pool is initiated against us by islamist fanatics, there comes a time when we have to shut the book on Jefferson and Adams and put it on the side table, and do what we must to defend our lives and our country.
Jefferson and Adams would be the first to "do what we must do to defend our lives and our country" if such an attack occurred. Unfortunately, it is neocons like Bush, Cheney, Giuliani,McCain, et al who are leaving us totally exposed to uncontrolled terrorist infiltration across our southern border. Neocons have no credibility on defense.
reply to CaptainFluffyMcFluff: By invading the lone secular nation in the region surrounded by Islamic extremist regimes, abandoning our retaliation against those who attacked our country, covering up Saudi Arabia's "direct government involvement" in that attack, drafting an "Oil Law" and pressuring the Iraqi government to sign it as a benchmark...turning bin Laden into a profit for his people...is that your version of defending our country?
Haha. It wasn't really my comment; it was copied verbatim from the comment section on Little Green Footballs. Wanted to see what kind of responses it would get here. I'm such a troll. ^_^
I'll just say this: things are getting scarier and scarier. Nuclear World War FTW! Yay! D:
Those don't look back and learn from history are condemn to repeat it again! Thanks Dr. Ron Paul for educating us on foreign policy. He has everything it takes to be our next president for 08'!! He is intelligent with integrity, and most of all he stand for the U.S. Constitution!! "We the People" wants Ron Paul!!!
I appreciate the poster putting up this video. However, to call Dr. Paul a "arch Christian Conservative" is not helping the man. He is a Constitutional libertarian who will uphold the constitution at all costs.
When Congressman Ron Paul, who has long served on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, explained how 50 years of American interventionism in the Middle East has helped compromise our national security, Giuliani interrupted saying he had "never heard anything so absurd." This statement is particularly troubling coming from the former mayor who tries to cast himself as a security expert, since Dr. Paul's point comes directly from the bi-partisan 9-11 Commission Report.
