  • God bless Eric. RIP hero

  • Thank you for posting.

Although an emotional moment, to say this video doesn`t do justice to the emotions in the room is an understatement. It does allow those that could not attend to be a part of the event.

It was my honor to be able to attend with friends, brothers and sisters on the job from the region and around the country.

    Rest In Peace PSO Zapata

  • Thank you for posting this. As a former dispatcher, I can only imagine how the dispatcher on duty that night felt, experiencing the event that always brought panic and fear into our hearts....that of an unanswered call to one of our own. Yes, God Speed Eric Zapata, Badge number 11611. baker 22 is off the watch.

  • Eric Zapata was a TRUE Warrior. Thank you

  • "Step forward now, you officer,

    You've borne your burdens well,

    Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,

You've done your time in Hell."

  • Baker 22, your watch is over. Job well done. Your brothers and sisters in blue will take over from here.

  • RIP EZ, your watch is over. You will be missed.

  • This is great video! My boss (himself, a former Kzoo ERT/PSO) told of this part of the funeral as he watched it from his office, it saddens me to now watch it, however, this is truly an inspiration... Godspeed Eric, and god bless all Public Safety across the nation.
