Eternal Rest Grant Him O Lord And Let Perpetual Light Shine Upon Him. May He And All The Faithful Departed, Through Your Mercy And Grace, Rest In Peace... Rest In Peace Hero!!!
Although an emotional moment, to say this video doesn`t do justice to the emotions in the room is an understatement. It does allow those that could not attend to be a part of the event.
It was my honor to be able to attend with friends, brothers and sisters on the job from the region and around the country.
Thank you for posting this. As a former dispatcher, I can only imagine how the dispatcher on duty that night felt, experiencing the event that always brought panic and fear into our hearts....that of an unanswered call to one of our own. Yes, God Speed Eric Zapata, Badge number 11611. baker 22 is off the watch.
This is great video! My boss (himself, a former Kzoo ERT/PSO) told of this part of the funeral as he watched it from his office, it saddens me to now watch it, however, this is truly an inspiration... Godspeed Eric, and god bless all Public Safety across the nation.
