Export a Video in Adobe Premiere Elements 7

i just got adobe premier elements 4 from a friend. I guess i don't have enough RAM to support it because after 5 minutes of starting a video it starts complaining about not enough system memory. After painstaking hours i finally finished a 7 minute video and now its cancelling my movie saving progress because it couldn't 'return a frame' or something. please help me :O

before this i had to go through windows movie maker to cut down my videos form 2-4gb to 250 mb.

Thanks SOOOOOO much. I was going to export>movie and a 10 second clip was...250MB!!!!!!!! So my 10 min vid was about 500mb when it was 10% through exporting!!!

I have a question and I would love if you could answer... My videos are "scalled" down when I export them (maybe if you see one of them you understand).
