  • WOW...che bellezza ....meravigliosoooo...grazie mille !!! un grande abbraccio ...KISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

  • @etana1996 its never too late to start ballet, but if you a little bit older it may be harder for you to become flexible. Just don't be too harsh on yourself, you'll get there eventually. :D

  • o.O i just took up ballet and im 15. Am i too old for this kind of stretches?

  • really pretty, but i wish they showed the pages (the students in front), because that's what i am :)

  • The one this year-2011- was MUCH better than this one. And I would know- I saw it live.

  • Ummm pointe shoes not on um ok not right

  • yeah ik, but its a BALLET. i mean, ive seen lots of nutcrackers b4 and usually the lead arabian girl is on pointe. idk, maybe the company wanted it this way.

  • @imdancer12atNDT- Well, if the company didn't want it this way, it wouldn't have been performed this way. It also creates the illusion of a dfferent culture. If all the dancers were doing the same kind of dance, it wouldn't seem like there were differet countries being represented. The Russians didn't do just ballet either. Neither did the Chinese or the Spanish.

  • @soyuncatacol YEAH, but its the nutcracker BALLET. not the nutcracker play or whatever you want to call it.

  • @imdancer12atNDT this is a professional performance of the nutcracker BALLET and unless you have been in one you wouldnt understand, this is called Moscow Ballet's Great Russian Nutcracker meaning the russian nutcracker a lot of things might be different for you if you have never seen or been in one, the arabian dancer is not on pointe in THIS nutcracker because this is the russians way of telling the story and this is the original story.

  • what up w/ the elephants in the background? and shouldnt she be on pointe? she definitely looks old enough.

  • @imdancer12atNDT I don't think the Arabian dance is on pointe because... The style never calls for pointe. Arabian dances are traditionally done barefoot, correct me if I'm wrong. I think they were trying to be authentic in using normal ballet slippers.

  • I went a few days ago and the funniest thing happened before the ballet started. I was wearing a vintage style jumper and the straps were crossed. As I was sitting and waiting for the start, I thought my it looked funny. I stood up and had to readjust in the audience because I put it on sideways

  • ABLOLUTE WONDERFUL!

  • i was at this show last year and this was my favorite part and i was so curious about the waltz of flowers because i was a flower in my studio's production of the nutcracker. i always tell myself, if we had boys in our studio, girls playing the male romantic roles would be 300% less awkward. especially if the two leads are played by best friends who laugh when they're near each other but rehearsals are hilarious!!!

  • The splits of Doom. I have to do this for my studio...! It's tons of fun.

  • I was there watching this performance, the dacnes were great, the only thing we didn't like was the big stuffed animal things in the back, they were in almost all th edances, and we just thought they were really cheesy,

  • so much better than the Arabian dance at my studio

  • Reminded me of snakes

  • My friend danced with them:)

  • i saw that and it was kida scary but AMAIZING!!!!!

  • :15-:23 blew my mind.

my jaw dropped...she made it look so easy!

  • And those moves weren't even the best they had to offer. Fantastic performance.

  • absolutely amazing!

  • I just saw them on Sunday and it was absolutely incredible.

  • i have danced with them!

  • BEST Arabian dance ever!
