Looks like its having some grip problems, it might go faster if you had a longer backstroke while maintaining contact with the ground

I will love to see that passive feet replaced with actives ones. You guys should measure the pressure of each link using strain gauges to substitute the material for a lighter one and their position using accelerometers in that way the control of the whole robot would be easier and more robust. I worked in a project a robotic knee replacement and these improvements were great for us.
