Brings back memories of high school choral club (Upper Darby Senior High School, Upper Darby, Pennsylvania -- Class of '72). In the spring of 1971, combined choral groups from the high school & both junior highs preformed Gonoud's "Mass of St. Cecilia" plus other pieces including 3 madrigals, "Hansel & Gretal Prayer," & "Battle Hymn of the Republic" -- all that recorded to a record, of which I still have.

To be more accurate, the title of the Mass is not Missa Solennelle, but the Mass of St. Cecilia. People won't know what you're talking about if you say NMissa Solennelle.
