  • I remember visiting the station in the 1980's long before the railway was re-opened . I have some fond memories of the location and the intimate relations that followed in the Prince Llyellyn hotel afterwards . Some of you railway people are very skilled and i dont mean on the railway.

  • An excellent video of the newly opened section to Hafod Y Llyn, through the magnificent Aberglaslyn Pass...5* Bob

  • Wonderful! Thanks for posting. Next time we can go the whole length of the line; hooray! (May have to stop off at the Brew-pub again though...!!!)

  • Thanks very much for this John. You do these videos so well. Ten out of Ten. Excellent quality. Regards, Alun Evans

  • A fantastic listing. It really captures the grandeur of the line especially on this section... and its gained you another 5* for excellence. especially the editing!

  • Thank you for this fantastic footage!

Interesting seeing Mr Lodge there. We'll have to catch up again when he returns down here in the summer, there's already some steam trips planned for the summer that I reckon he may be interested in!

  • Nice video.

Out of interest how many people paid to go on the Heritage Train?

  • Actually I've got real idea but it seemed pretty full.

  • That's good to hear.
