  • Hello can u please tell me where to order the split ender I keep calling the number from the website and NO ONE EVER ANSWER I keep leaving messages, but no one ever return my calls. I WANT THIS REALLY BAD

  • @beautiful5gaw I believe the only place to get them is on the website listed in my description box. They were sold out for a while during Christmas but they are fully stocked again now

  • you talk to slow for me

  • I don't want to cut my split ends i want to repair them:( is there something to repair them?

  • @rumba7575 No, split ends are basically the epithelial sheath pulling away from the core of the hair. So the cuticle (dead keratinized cells) are pulled away from the cortex (beneath layer that makes your hair flexible).

  • @rumba7575 The best way to treat split ends is to cut them. If you don't when the new hair grows the splits will continue to grow up the hair shaft, causing breakage and you dont want that.

  • @rumba7575 split ends cannot be mended I suggest cutting them off little by little if you don't want to lose your length. It is important to get rid of them or they will keep going further and further up the shaft of your hair

  • how much is it??

  • @delila1013 $60 USD all information is in the description

  • This is an amazing product! and i see its doin great on sales as well....i went to purchase 1 and they are sold out! but its worth the wait! great video!

  • how often do u use the splitender?

  • I tried this... Its not worth it. Much better just to trim your hair yourself.

  • you are a liar. you make money off sending people to this terrible product, then you remove any comment about the product being bad. you SUCK

  • @fidelcastro711 It seems u don't understand how the blade mechanism works.Obviously u r confused & claim that the blade is dull. The Split-Ender consist of 2 Traditional Sharped bottom blades & a New Specially Designed Rotating blade flat at the end while sharpen on Left & Right side corners. The rotating blade corner press & trim the hair effectively. If you dropped your Split-Ender u may have a damaged blade! Call 800-958-4776 to help u.Ur package didn't have RA# & was passed 6 month warranty!

  • Hi Allison, I just have a few questions regarding your hair care regimen with the splitender. My first question is how long do your ends stay fresh after you've used it before it looks like you need to use it again. Also how often do you go for regular trims at the hair salon?

  • @AlannaLoren Thanks! I do have a video on straitening my hair called "Styling my hair from curly to straight" it's the video I posted right before this one.

  • does it cut off too much or just enough

  • I've just got me splitender but it keeps stopping when i'm using it? would u know why thats happenin?

  • @vanita1992 It may be because you are using too much hair at one time...Try using smaller sections of your hair. Hope this helps :)

  • @lovexxcharm I see that you don't fully understand the use in this machine but it is meant for maintaining already healthy hair for people who do not want to spend 15-20$ every 5-6 weeks for a "trim" that ends up being more like a cut. This machine provides a precison cut that no stylists hands could ever mimic. 1/4th to 1/8th of an inch off the ends of the hair heathy or split. A stylist cuts both healthy and split hair too.

  • Comment removed

  • @lovexxcharm of course its not supposed to be a hair cut, silly... its a TRIM. there's a difference. and if you know what you're doing, your hair will be even.

  • Comment removed

  • @lovexxcharm how would you know if you've never even used it? c'mon now...

  • @avastacia

i keep seeing reply's to lovexxcharm but what did he/she say? sorry i'm so nosey

  • @Afrykah21 MAKES PLENTY SINCE TO ME

  • Comment removed

  • @lovexxcharm "Split ends" is just a general term for the splitting of your hair. Your hair cuticle can actually split anywhere on the strand. It is not uncommon to find a hair splitting in the middle of the strand either. If you don't believe me, google the different types of "split ends" and you will see. This product only cuts the hairs the are sticking up off of each individual strand. If the hair is sticking up, it was a spilt, and then it tops it off by taking a little off the ends.

  • Comment removed

  • @lovexxcharm I'd be offended if you weren't once again wrong. First, you can't read anything "on google" it's a search engine, but what you can do is go to a educational, accredited resource through google and do research. The medical name for "split ends" is Trichoptilosis, in which the medical definition is "A splitting of the shaft of the hair, giving it a feathery appearance. "P.S"? Really? Lmao. OK.

  • did you flat iron you hair b4? i was just asking cuz i have heard sum ppl say that they do

  • HOW DID U GET THE PINK ONE. IM ON THE WEBSITE AND I ONLY SEE THE BLUE AND GREEN ONE. lOL I WANT PINK

  • @sexyred8604 I keep hearing that. Maybe the pink is sold out :s keep checking back.

  • YOU CAN USE THE CODE SPLITENDER10 AND GET $10 DOLLARS OFF

  • Please don't buy it! It just takes a few pieces off your hair and in the end the splitends are still there and the healthy ones are been cut off!

I tried it by myself and believed all the videos ... don't girls!

  • @strawberry91091 so i shouldnt get it? are u sure?

  • @lisa123821 There's always the 30 day money back gurantee... Strawberry is just one person out of many who have loved it. I didn't delete her comment because everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

  • @Afrykah21 oh ok :) u have amazing hair by the way :) i wanna buy it!!

  • can you explain the directional switch?

  • @GandNa It basically changes the direction of the blade. If it is pointing in the wrong direction the blade will not make contact with the other and it will not cut the hair.

  • @Afrykah21 How much did it cost?

  • the one i have is blue.. Does that change anything?

  • @Mohnyyka it shouldn't as long as you've purchased it from splitender(.)com

  • wow this is the first time ive seen this. i think i may buy it

  • where did u buy this?

  • Is it safe on relaxed hair?

  • great review

  • im getting this definetly! thank you beautiful!

  • how do I order one?

  • it looks like an efficient product but what happens when the blade dulls?

  • I'm so curious about this thing! But i'm really afraid it will also cut my non splitted hair..

  • Agggh! So glad i found this i can take care of my friggin split ends

  • Very good job explaining and demonstrating how the split ender works...but does it work on natural kinky hair or does your hair have to be straight to use it? Also, how often is it recomended to use this product?

  • @JoyfulNATural It's recommended use is every 4-6 weeks but I say use it when needed. It can definitely be used on your hair in it's natural and detangled state. The hair has to be detangeled or the split ender will feel like it's ripping at your hair. I actually filmed myself using it on my natural hair i should be posting it as an FAQ soon. I'll send it to you as a PM as soon as it's up :)

  • um 1 word. scissors

  • @WikkidAwesomeness I guess you're right... scissors are tried and true... this is just a time savor... I still use my scissors and visit my stylist throught the year for keeping up the shape of my stlye. This is just a precision trimmer for the in between times ;)

  • Gorgeous, you look just like that lady from "something new". Just gorgeous.

  • @TikiTubeable LOL Thank you so much!! I've heard I look like Sanaa Lathan before so I guess I do :)

  • Your hair is beautiful. I can not wait to get a Split Ender for myself. I'm going to search E-bay for one tomorrow. LOL

  • i just ordered mine. Im so excited. What do you think of the hair silk oil that comes with it?

  • great review. I think I might buy it now!

  • omg, your like kerry washington sister from another mother, lol, you look alike and sound alike

  • @lovelydiva06 LOL! Thank you she's beautiful.

  • I ordered a blue one...Thanks for the recommendation cant wait to use it!

  • Heyy how often do you use it??? and do u think that by using this product you wont have to get trims as much as usual ??

  • @SweetSavior18 every 4-6 weeks and I trim wayyyy less using this product... When I want my hair "re-shaped" is when I trim but I do that about 2-4 times a year too..

  • @Afrykah21 Ok thanks soo much... I ordered my Split Ender yesterday..pink of course thats my favorite color and I cant wait till it comes :-)..Thanks again for this review

  • i don't really understand how this works..

  • @xomegxo381 Nor do I darling! It just does!

  • I have one and I love...love...love it! I have very fine hair and the longer it gets the more split ends I have to deal with. I'm always cutting my hair because of this. Now with the Split Ender, I can finally focus on growing my hair and parking the scissors for a while. I think it was worth every dollar and cent.

  • Wow, thank you so much for this video!...this may have to be my Christmas gift to myself :)

  • I got my Splitender Maxi Kit in Pink today and i put Splitender10 in the promo box and I got a $10 discount.... Hope this helps ladies...HHJ

  • thank you so much! excellent review !

    and your so pretty!

  • The directions say not to have any product in your hair. When I straighten my hair, I usually use an oil as a heat protectant. Did you have product in your hair? How damaging could it be to have a little oil in one's hair?

  • Oh! does it cut out necessity for salon trimmings? Many salons are scissor happy so I would love to not have to go again or at minimize it to once or twice per year.

  • This is my first time hearing of this lol but it looks cool and your hair looks great. Does your hair have to be professionally cut/shaped or generally healthy prior to use?

  • @Afrykah21 so you said the hair must be straight, clean, how did you get yours like that, and did you use any products at all to get it like that before u trimmed? if so its okay to have somethings in your hair?

  • Wow, your hair looks amazing afterwards! Definitely buying....i might have to straighten my severely curly hair first just so it works better, but hey....God knows i don't want to pay $50 for "just a trim" :P

  • what products do you use for your hair, its not greasy at all

  • @mbusiron In this video I blow dried my hair with little mixed chicks leave in conditioner, moroccan oil, and CHI 44 iron guard. no grease at all :)

  • Question, does this thin out your hair?

  • I just suscribed, you put this video together well.

  • @ghgurl0805 Thanks so much!!

  • i don't trust it. my hair is thick and natural, but your hair is bomb

  • THey are currently selling these at Ross for $9.99 :) After watching this I regret passing it up. Thank-you for this informative review!

  • Only question, if it works, do you not have to go get it done by/at the salon anymore?? Or is it not That good??

Cause if not & I'm going to have to go to the salon still, is it worth it??

    Thanks. ^_^

  • OMG This looks so good. I'm so glad I stumbled across this product. Thank you for doing a review on it. I really need this. I have natural 4a hair and I have some split ends and individual knots on the strands....Yay,,i'm so happy now i don't need to go to the salon for a trim.

  • I was going to ask where I coulld find on in Canada. Thanks for the great info

  • Hey! i have really long 3c curly hair and the only time my hair is straight is when its wet and ive combed it! will this work on wet hair?

  • Your the only person with a side by side comparison. hank you. I agree its not wort 60$ sounding like those scary lawn mowers on froger but a bargain hunter always finds a way. Thanks again for the review.

  • @NiKKey411 you're welcome! I know that it's not much BUT I have a personal discount code for 5$... Just type AFRYKAH21 at the checkout and you receive the 5$ off ;)

  • @Afrykah21 there's a another one where u get 10 dollars off its splitender10

  • @NiKKey411

if you go on ebay or amazon you can get 1 for 20-30 dollars brand new. but it won't come with the stand or the little brush, which to me doesn't really matter. I bought mine off ebay a lil while ago and it works just fine.

  • psh i been doin that since ever

  • Comment removed

  • @SplitEnderMaxiKit So it's not going to slice up curly hair?

  • @EmpressCarm Just did it last night on my natural hair. It didn't chop it off and still only took off a little. You just have to blow dry it with a comb with your tightest portions and comb really well.

  • I finally got it! I cannot wait to try it out! :)

  • what about natural hair? Do I have to flat iron it?

  • @kiaaaron yes, unfortunately you would have to flat iron.. this machine is not made for use on curly hair... it's very specific on the instructions not to use it on curly hair. I've used it after a roller set and wrap before though so instead of flat ironing try a roller wrap.

  • Comment removed

  • Hi Kiaaron and Afrykah21, Just as a correction on what type of hair or if it needs to flat iron before the treatment. The Split-Ender has been designed to work in every type of hair, curly or straight, thick or thin. However it will be much easier and faster to work with device when having your hair straighten but not necessarily. Please, refer to the troubleshooting section on our website for more details under IMPORTANT NOTES #4 at the bottom of the page.

  • doesnt it cut the healthy hair as well leaving more fly away short pieces of hair? i heard it thins your hair out because it chops off all hair as ur running it down like a flat iron?

  • @pocabarbie no i have it and is useful it dosent thin it out u must run it throught the hair 3 times for all the hair, it really works i luv it

  • hiee dere^ - ^ plz ani1 who can help me find it anywhere in Emirates(UAE) :( i dunno where to get it from ...

  • @luvlykittykat Hi.. I'm not sure if the site ships to UAE but it is only available online at the website that I posted in the more info section. I don't think it's in stores anywhere. I'm sure if you contact the 1-800 number they will be happy to ship to you. Hope this helps :)
