When my hair was red i literally only washed my hair like twice a week. it makes your hair sooo greasy and oily. I couldn't stand it after two years. The red fades so fast and its so expensive to maintain.

You can get this hair color with affinage b red, loreal majicontrast in red. These both are from the UK though, so try ordering online? Another alternative that I use, but isn't as long lasting and wonderful is l'oreal hicolor hilights in red

So basically if you want hair like hers you have to spray it with product- don't wash it- sew in some fake hair- flat iron-and dye the living daylights out of it. Sure, her "hair" is gorgeous but at the same time she has had to abuse the eff out of it to make it look that way. That canNOT be healthy...And I do have dyed red hair but I wash it...and I have to dye it more often because of that but it's worth it. There is no way I could live day and night with stiff, fake, dry, hairsprayed hair.

We could be sisters if people only looked at our hair! :P I am a hair dye nut, and when I mean nut, I mean it's my pride and joy and if anything is out of place about my hair, I need it back to it's perfect red! I drive my hubby nuts about it, but for a while I was stuck having to go with natural colors. Hated it. Job wouldn't allow anything but natural tones. Dyed it, bleached it, etc, etc... bringing it back to my lovely "Ariel" red as it's become nicknamed. Love your videos! You're adorable!

Or actually get it wet and run water through it for a while and then brush it out and condition ONLY the ends. That's what I do and I have bright red hair as well. It makes is look and smell like it's washed :)

What if you're in a sport, such as wrestling, and you want your hair to have a vibrant color, but you shower everyday, mostly twice a day. for those of you who are wondering how to achieve this colour, in canada anyway, ion color brilliance in medium intense red with 20 vol. developer :) or ice cream in RED (depending what's available to you) also with 20 vol. developer... i have this exact same colour so there ya go. lol she doesnt want clones? she is a clone of a disney princess...how original. there ya go ladiessss

@TheRedlindsay I'm also this color right now and i used the ion color brilliance medium intense red blonde. my hair was really dark so i had to bleach it first and with both the bleach and the hair color i used a 30 developer . you can even get this color with a drugstore box dye called Splat! . I don't know if it's available everywhere but the ion color brilliance is available in most sally hair salons.

I don't know if any of those shampoos have sulfates. I will have to check those out myself but. I've been told shampoos with sulfates are bad for your hair and especially for colored hair because it further strips the color.

I used to have Bright red hair just like youuuuuu! I used Redken ColorExtend and it worked GREAT! Also for coloring your hair I used Schwarzkopf or Framesi WITHOUT developer :) They are smooth enough to go on without developer and it leaves the hair "stained" that's what I did for long lasting color I am a hairstylist based in California and I love these products! Give it a try Traci if you havn't already!

i use products on my hair almost every day a tip would be to rinse your hair with cold water heat damages your hair so clod water helps and you dont have to us shampoo and it gets all the products out easy!!!

Your hair looks fabulous!:) I dyed my hair this shade of red last summer and I found that after even one shampoo my colour faded sooooo much lol, so i stopped using shampoo altogether...instead i found a cheap Vo5 conditioner that was silicone free (to stop build up) and used this to clean my hair...i wash my hair 5 days a week now and theres no fade.....
