The notion that world war 2 was the "solution" to the great depression is a myth, there is no real evidence for this, the depression ended after the world war but as anyone who is vaguely familiar with the rules of logic and reason, something preceding an effect is not by any means guaranteed to be the cause of that effect, and there is no evidence that using the entire production of a nation to make bombs is going to revitalize that economy.

Seems to me that those countries not part of 'the West' should unite and trade among themselves. The West relies heavily on Central and South America for food, so there is leverage there. Any attempts by the West to strong arm could be met by South American and Asian unity.

I don't agree with Adrian's theory on how a new currency will shake out. They will not be able to avoid utter chaos in American unless they exchange the new dollars 1:1 for the old. But the factor he is missing is China's yuan and it's power. Much of China's reserves are bullion based and their economy will continue expanding quickly like the USA did in the 40s and 50s.

Hello, "Despicable81" - What you describe is Destructive Capitalism. Most people have no ideal of what Italian Facism and German National Socialism were. Mainly, because both systems were demonized by their Victors after they lost WWII. If you look closely, you'll find Italy's Carta del Lavoro labour legislation of the 20's was quite revolutionary and Germany's use of Sovereign Currency in the 30's also revolutionary. Both put their counttries back on their feet. Worth looking into...

So far as I recall, it was Adolf Hitler who started the war on account of his philosophy of "lebensraum" and hatred of Bolshevism. Or do you think the banks gave him that idea?

Research who funded Hitlers rise to power and how/why we got into WW2. A vast majority of Americans did not want war, however the Fed was starving for it due to the profits they would get. Also keep in mind the Rockefellers/Standard Oil funded and supplied both the US and Hitler...

Mr. Salbuchi, what happened to the debt. It is that truth the money was put on the mixed metal standard but the debt was not adjusted, because, the outside debt holders would not get there original investment back. So, they do not adjust it. So if you owed 100K old pesos the banks made you pay 100K new pesos (instead the old ones)?

Read about Pearl Harbour and how FDR "let it come" and then you'll see what I mean. He needed "a day that will live in infamy" and yet when the US entered WWII, the first they did was war in Europe!!! How strange... Good video. I too have lived through 3Real-estate and Banking boom and bust in US. But I disagree with some information and conclusions. FIRST -the USA did not seek to start a WAR in the late 30's to get out of the depression as you imply. Yes, we know the WAR put everybody back to work in 41. SECOND -we had hard times in 74-76 and hyperinflation in late 70's-early 80's & an S&L collapse in early 90's so its inaccurate to claim USA has not had hard times/inflation since the depression.

I'm scared by what this man says. I'm scared because it rings true to everything I have learnt over the last few years about various elements of this world, ie: government corruption, fiat currencies, fractional reserve banking, ponzi schemes, derivitives market, precious metals, wars, inflation etc. Everything this man says is based on facts and he is talking from knowledge AND experience. My head/ stomache and heart tell me very clearly that this man is correct on all points.
Adendum to my last comment. I'm not so sure about the hologramed government gold theory. It's a very interesting scenario but I think that this is less likely to happen. Gold is gold. It can be assayed as such and therefore can be bought and sold with confidence, by Governments and private buyers alike.
I do think the superpowers will amass gold as a means to back their currency. China and Russia, to name just two, are already doing this.

The notion that world war 2 was the "solution" to the great depression is a myth, there is no real evidence for this, the depression ended after the world war but as anyone who is vaguely familiar with the rules of logic and reason, something preceding an effect is not by any means guaranteed to be the cause of that effect, and there is no evidence that using the entire production of a nation to make bombs is going to revitalize that economy.

My friends tell me I have a conflict between "Need and Want," but I do not want to lose the purchasing power of hard earned money. I am not a financial manipulator, but I do know about money creation and hyperinflation. I also believe the US is headed for Civil Unrest and Civil War.

I don't agree with Adrian's theory on how a new currency will shake out. They will not be able to avoid utter chaos in American unless they exchange the new dollars 1:1 for the old. But the factor he is missing is China's yuan and it's power. Much of China's reserves are bullion based and their economy will continue expanding quickly like the USA did in the 40s and 50s.

Mainly, because both systems were demonized by their Victors after they lost WWII. If you look closely, you'll find Italy's Carta del Lavoro labour legislation of the 20's was quite revolutionary and Germany's use of Sovereign Currency in the 30's also revolutionary. Great Advice! invest in whatever have real value, when crisis come in, you attach to your house and dont let them foreclosure you. There will be so many foreclosures that there will be no more foreclosures. Specially if your bank bankrupt.
You swap electronic money for a real house and thats a very good deal for you.
The stupid thing Fed made last "crisis" is to bailout banks instead of bailout debtors! so debtors kept with their debt and houses were foreclosured. Taxpayers payed the bailout.

Mr. Salbuchi, what happened to the debt. It is that truth the money was put on the mixed metal standard but the debt was not adjusted, because, the outside debt holders would not get there original investment back. So, they do not adjust it. So if you owed 100K old pesos the banks made you pay 100K new pesos (instead the old ones)?

Good video. I too have lived through 3Real-estate and Banking boom and bust in US. But I disagree with some information and conclusions. FIRST -the USA did not seek to start a WAR in the late 30's to get out of the depression as you imply. Yes, we know the WAR put everybody back to work in 41. SECOND -we had hard times in 74-76 and hyperinflation in late 70's-early 80's & an S&L collapse in early 90's so its inaccurate to claim USA has not had hard times/inflation since the depression.

1) If you were an American and wanting to avoid the upcoming chaos would you consider Chili as a good alternative to relocate.
2) Would you project that if you did this how much time do you have to relocate--is Fed 2012 probably too late?

I'm scared by what this man says. I'm scared because it rings true to everything I have learnt over the last few years about various elements of this world, ie: government corruption, fiat currencies, fractional reserve banking, ponzi schemes, derivitives market, precious metals, wars, inflation etc. Everything this man says is based on facts and he is talking from knowledge AND experience. My head/ stomache and heart tell me very clearly that this man is correct on all points.

Adendum to my last comment. I'm not so sure about the hologramed government gold theory. It's a very interesting scenario but I think that this is less likely to happen. Gold is gold. It can be assayed as such and therefore can be bought and sold with confidence, by Governments and private buyers alike.
I do think the superpowers will amass gold as a means to back their currency. China and Russia, to name just two, are already doing this.

Perhaps its a good idea reading The Great Crash 1929 and discover that a simple exchange of names turns this rather old book into a pretty updated version of the current financial disaster.

John Kenneth Galbraith wrote a book in which a whole chapter is dedicated to the imputability of Goldman-Sachs for the great crash of 1929 (at least their maneuvers made it far worse).
And he called that chapter: In Goldman-Sachs we trust, a parody of Olympian divinity as we suspect.
Galbraith himself said that in the following yearsGS rebuilt respectability and presumably casted into oblivion the bad image gained during those rough years.

No. Hold with a fool-proof, countereit-proof, embedded hi-tech something or other: a chip? a GPS-like tracking scheme so that full inventory is always there, a Hologram? Don't really know. But it will be VERY pure 9999 gold. It's the technological added value (i.e., embedded chip or what have you) that will give it is "special" value: u$s 30000? Senor Salbuchi, thanks for a great presentation. One of the things that must be taken into account is; capital has never had to come to an "accommodation" with automation. We continue to destroy job niches. Capital continues to eliminate labor,,,,, and potential buyers of it's products.
As capital chases the lowest-wage producers, it drives the world towards a global-mean wage.

Well it occurs to me that "real" money is also LAND AND HOUSES- tangible things that the powers that be, started taking as EMINENT DOMAIN - which started in Oct. 2008- ...wait..I meant it started couple yrs b4 & THEN got out of hand in OCt. last year.
Tbtb started taking houses away, THAT 's why there're so many tent cities in the West Coast here.

We don't know the terms of the agreements that have been entered into by the gov to borrow the money. But we do know that eminent domain powers now extend to any purpose the gov decides. Plus many people don't realize that the STIMULUS bill was not about money or stimulating jobs. It was an unprecedented power grab, expanding control over land, buildings & water.
