the good but bad thing about these cars is that the engines are built one by one by hand so they all have different horepower. plus side is the gearboxes and everything are made to fit your specific GtR

Please don't compare this to a Corvette. This car is going to become legendary and it is going to beat the best from Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini. In all seriousness a Corvette would never come into the equation. You need to leave the USA from time to time because the Corvette is a car that is laughed upon in most areas of the world, specially if you try to compare it to the proper supercars.
If you had any idea of what you were talking about, you'd be dangerous. When was the last time YOU were out of the US? Europeans have posters of Corvettes on their walls like we do of Ferrari's and Lambo's. I'll bet the Italians aren't laughing at the Corvette, as it beats the Lambo Gallardo and Murcielago, and the Ferrari F430 and 599 GTB at Nurburgring. I love ALL great cars- they all have something different to offer, and you should just be able to appreciate each car on it's own merits. I just know this GT-R is going to be killer; can't wait to drive one. I still think the Corvetee is the best bang for the buck on the planet.

well chevy has never really been a high class/ end type of company but i get where youre coming from, the gtr has more to enjoy interior wise thats a key difference between, the only setback for me with the gtr is that the computer controls everything theres very little work from the driver, which for some is a good thing but u cant really learn the car with a computer damn near controlling everything overall still a very good car

PERSONALLY, it's not always about speed. I can't see why a Nissan is priced so high. Yeah it does 0-60 in 3.5 but I still would rather drive the slightly slower Viper or Corvette for the same price. The GT-R really doesn't have that supercar "sex appeal." It kinda looks like the 350z. But it's just my opinion.

First, I dont believe you have a 850hp Supra, but even if you did have an 850hp Supra gutted with no interior, no seats except the drivers, about 30k in mods the Supra does low to mid 9's. The GTR does 11.6 in its stock trim - Thats leather seats, car stereo, speakers, door panel, carpet etc still in tact. If the GTR is modded similarly your supra will lose the quarter mile race simply because the GTR is all wheel drive. Cant beat 4 wheel traction to the floor at launch.

PERSONALLY, it's not always about speed. I can't see why a Nissan is priced so high. Yeah it does 0-60 in 3.5 but I still would rather drive the slightly slower Viper or Corvette for the same price. The GT-R really doesn't have that supercar "sex appeal." It kinda looks like the 350z. But it's just my opinion.

Yeah, it's a $70,000 Nissan 350z. The only good thing about it is that it's quick around a track. What else can you do with this car? Unlike the Vette's, Vipers, BMWs and Porsches, this car doesn't have any sex appeal. No one is going to be impressed by it's looks. It looks like a 350z.

First, I dont believe you have a 850hp Supra, but even if you did have an 850hp Supra gutted with no interior, no seats except the drivers, about 30k in mods the Supra does low to mid 9's. The GTR does 11.6 in its stock trim - Thats leather seats, car stereo, speakers, door panel, carpet etc still in tact. If the GTR is modded similarly your supra will lose the quarter mile race simply because the GTR is all wheel drive. Cant beat 4 wheel traction to the floor at launch.

no, wrong. the reason why this does not go under the skyline name is because the car has been built from the ground up not based upon the skyline family. previous GTR;s have been built upon the skyline, the skyline and the GTR these days are completely different cars, hence why they do not share the same name.

PAVONEZORZ the skyline came out back in 1957 wit the datsun prince skyline ALSI-1 and GT-R joined wit skyline around the 70's/80's and in 2003 when they stopped making the R34 GT-R split from skyline but they still make skylines the nissan skyline v35-v37 or for america the infiniti g35-g37 and yes nissan owns infiniti and yes this is GT-R's 1st car from the split
