just bought one to replace supplement my 4 yr old powerbook. I have had macs since 1986. my emac is still running and my power-book will run for many more years. How many windows systems can say that. The cost upfront is high because the quality is high and the product will last. I look forward to my new desktop and its beyond HD screen.

It is pretty and has a wireless mouse and keyboard with a 27inch screen with lots of pixels. Sounds like my 2 year old HP Quad 4 and 24 inch Samsung monitor with wireless keyboards mouse printer and Bose speakers. Price Difference 1500 dollars. Its green because it used aluminum instead of plastic It takes a lot more energy to produce aluminum and plastic is recyclable. My computers aged and were replaced due to new technology. Mac should make a version thats affordable if it wants to compete.

None of these products will have blue ray because the rights to blue ray are owned by Sony. Sony has a deal with Samsung but apart from them no other manufacturers have blue ray.

Most mac haters have never even tried one. Macs are the best overall computers; reliable, sexy and good quality. They may seem over priced to your plastic dell but that's because its 4 times the computer in overall user experience. This is coming from a 15 year windows user. Vista was a disaster, when yoou reply to this message Vista will probably crash on you and you keep on kidding yourself just because your pc was a steal it 'ownz' macs. Assholes!!!
