  • it should me fuckin screwed down anyway then open it

  • WOW i had no idea, hopefully the company will fit that and send you a nice thankyou

  • So Mike Baker... You are the President of GunVault correct? Aren't you like in competition with the INPRINT? Seems a little strange...

Man that really adds credibility to your video! If I was in competition with someone who had a better product than me I guess I too would buy the product, mess with it and then make a fake video of me being able to pop it open!

You should check out my video. I bought one of these things just to see if it was true. After doing what you did TWICE it did not open.

  • Crap

  • usually everyone can just buy something and automatically know how to disable it. got to love it. I wish I had the money to buy stuff like this just for test purposes.....

  • and this is why i buy a 1000$ GUN SAFE a real one. all i have to say if u try to open it good luck.

  • It isn't built to be a "safe" it is meant to keep ur gun away from little ones but still quickly accessable for protection.="gun vault"

  • I have a Barska. Best safe I've owned

  • just bolt it down

  • I see your point, the box is flawed.

Did designer intend for box to be mounted, in a way that your methods would fail?

Are there bolt holes on the bottom?

  • Made in china

  • @tf1977sled Actually they're made in the USA. They advertise that fact clearly on their website.

  • show me how to open this with it bolted down and i will be impressed

  • @cmothersele55 Tap the top with a hammer.

  • Comment removed

  • this has to be real cause its impossible to retape a box shut.

  • @nstacy333 the seals are not easily accessible. I have seen this done many times . a friend of mine bought one f these and i tried it bet him 50$ which i did win. When buying a safe always check the reviews not from their webpage but from forums and other places online.

  • your inside with your shoes on?

  • @badboypl3 yeah thats pretty normal. . . most people dont take their shoes off at the door.

  • @mjbrennan99 The point is that when 9G got the safe back, they opened it and found the safe had been tampered with. The lock mechanism is not "passive". There is a positive catch that prohibits the latch from being bounced open. However, if you rig the latch so it doesn't completely close, the catch doesn't engage, and you could make a video of the safe being bounced open.

  • must not let my 5yr old child see this video!

  • I just ordered an Inprint due to the POS gunvault bio vault I bought at Gander Mountain in Portage, Michigan. Feel free to call them and get the safe I returned. If anyone's safe is dangerous or faulty, it's the gunvault. I installed a battery in the gunvault and it wouldn't work. When I tried to remove the battery, it was hot as hell and I needed a glove to touch it. That would have been real nice to have the battery catch on fire with my gun in it on my bed. How safe would that have been

  • Does it have Pre-drilled holes to allow someone to bolt it down?

  • This video is from Mike Baker (mike13baker), President of GunVault, and competitor with the 9G Inprint. Draw your own conclusions.

  • @letsallberealistic Does it matter that the video source is from a competitor? The safe just opened itself by being dropped a few inches. Using a passive lock mechanism is not exactly secure and isn't that the point?
