Very brave to cover a Tom Waits song, I think QOTSA did a good job on adding their own bands twist to the song instead of trying to copy the original identically, people are bound to flame a cover of a Tom Waits not knowing how fucking hard it must be to cover him.

I personally think this is a great cover, Josh's growl in his voice is really cool. The rhythm is just perfect and they're not 'trying too hard' by trying to make themselves sound like Tom Waits. I love Tom and Queens. Great Cover! :)

While I miss the distinctive voice of Waits, the guitar work on this version is phenomenal. Really keeps the original tone, while delivering that extra kick-in-the-teeth that made Queens famous. I dig it. This song is straight WIN.

Agree with you all. I'd love to hear what would it sound like sung by John Garcia. Kyuss was a much better option for a Tom Waits covers than Qotsa.
