i wish she'd not stopped writting DTWOF. i miss reading it. her characters were so well fleshed out and her pencils were so detailed and expressive- seeing her work i can see why. it was bloody awkward to read in the library though. death stares from people wanting me to stop laughing.
There is something oddly romantic about cartoons in pencil. As much as I love ink, it cannot get the expressionistic side and depth of the cartoonist as they draw.
