The inferiority complex is from the one who makes disrespectful videos of MJ complete w/ false titles in order to troll NBA fans. Larry Bird and Magic Johnson wouldn't have any respect for this guy. The former would probably be ashamed that such a person is trying to speak in behalf of his career.
@jp3813 Bird disrespected and dominated MJ his whole career. MJ even mentions Bird trash-talking him numerous time, including the 2 years in a row he swept MJs ass. Don't believe the hype you little whining bitch, MJ left the bulls in 94 and the Bulls only lost 2 more games, and your trying to con me into believe this over-hyped ball-hog was the GOAT, when he is only worth 2 games, go bitch somewhere else with the herds of other cud chewing jordan jockers, moooo!

Bird was a bad man, ask Magic & MJ & 50 other HoFers, people whose opinions count, not yours. If you met him on the court, he would have you whimpering in the corner for your momma.
@MerkinMuffly First of all, I'm not black. Secondly, if you really want to bring up the opinion of the "people whose opinions count", there's not even a question that Jordan's the consensus pick of probably 98% of all HOFers and basketball pundits. Even Magic, Bird's greatest rival, admitted Jordan was on a different level from anyone else. I think his opinion counts a little more than yours, considering he actually played both of them.
@MerkinMuffly Celtics sweeping the Bulls in Jordan's SECOND and THIRD seasons isn't even a relevant point. The 86 Bulls were a 52 loss team playing one of the greatest Celtic teams in history. But Jordan STILL dropped 63 and Bird himself called MJ godlike. Remember this was his sophomore season. Early playoff failures ultimately don't mean shit. Young MJ got his ass kicked by the Pistons for a few seasons, but you never hear anyone including Isiah Thomas in the "GOAT" conversation.

@VinmanMJ23 You do realize that Bird dominated MJ beating him 23-11 for their career and sweeping him 2 years in a row. Bird also leads MJ in stats, MJ only leads Bird in ppg and steals per game, Bird leads MJ in rebounding, assists, ft%, 3pt%, blocks per game, so don't bring that weak stats shit in here, Bird is the most complete player ever.
@MerkinMuffly When Bird was still playing for the Celtics, the Bulls sucked and when the Bulls dominated the Celtics sucked and Bird was retired. Bird was a great player, one of the best all time. I just looked up their stats. MJ leads Bird in FG%, points, steals and turnovers (fewer per game). Bird was a forward and MJ was a guard, so you would expect the forward to average more rebounds (Bird 10, MJ 6) and blocks (Bird .8, MJ .8).
@MerkinMuffly Also, saying that Bird beat Jordan 23-11 really doesn't mean anything because it was the Celtics vs. the Bulls, not Bird vs. Jordan. That would be like someone saying that Michael Jordan scored 49 and 63 points on Larry Bird in consecutive playoff games.

Bird is a Horrible defender, defensive liability. That's why Bird made the defensive all-team 2 years in a row. That's why Bird is 16th all-time in steals per game in the playoffs. That's why Bird won a playoff game off a steal in 87 vs Pistons (watch?v=WNyw8jUo1cA), that's why Bird ended the game and series on a steal against the 76ers in the 85 ECfinals. (watch?v=jSDnfCY-5P4&) Greatest 2 steals in NBA history, and you call him a defensive liability, my conclusion is your a retard.

LOL, I can hear Stern pissing himself right now, "OMG, how do we get MJ back, I know, lets move the 3 point line closer in the 94-95 season so MJ will think he's a great outside shooter."
Poor MJ, he never could hold his own against the great 80s teams. All he did was jack up shots and keep losing. Bird swept his ballhogging ass 2 years in a row. Then the Pistons make MJ their personal bitch, kicking his ass 3 years STRAIGHT!!! At one point MJ blows a 2-0 lead against the Pistons, what a choke. MJ's lucky Bird broke his back, Isiah had wrist surgery in 91 and Magic had AIDS or he would have never won anything. MJ enjoyed those sloppy 2nds that were the 90s hahaha.
LOL more stuff from the "EXPERT" hahahaahaha MJ PLAYOFF STATS AT 34 32ppg, 8 brds and 5 assts LOL JABBAR's 20ppg LOL 8 rbds LOL and 3asts LOL hahahaahahahahaa 12 less points same brds and he was a CENTRE YOU MORON and less assists LOL hahahaaha OWNED SO BAD you are not an EXPERT you have no clue LOL MJ the best 34 yr old EVER EASY lol "jabbar better at 34 LOL hahahaahahahahahahahahahahaa OWNED
Poor MJ, he couldn't play with the Big Boys when he came in the league. Bird was the Big Boy his rookie year, taking Boston from 2nd worst to first without Parish, DJ, Ainge and Walton. MJ had to wait for the BIg Boys to leave the playground before he could get his sloppy 2nds that were the 90s, hahaha
@MerkinMuffly In fairness, MJ did win the Rookie of the Year, lead his team in scoring, rebounds, steals and blocks and scored the most points in the NBA as a 21-year old.
When talking about all time great teams I am tired of hearing MJ fans say how great those 90s Knicks were. Fact - those Knicks won nothing! If they were so great, why didn't they win during MJs 1st retirement? I don't know where these fans come up with their theories. I agree the Bulls should be considered one of the all time great teams but not the 90s Knicks. Now do I think the Bulls were the greatest team ever - no way! To be that best you have to beat the best & fate was on their side.
They beat a solid blazers team in 1992, Shawn Kemp, Charles Barkley, Karl Malone, all led teams far and eventually lost to the Bulls. To those who say he never beat Bird, Olajuwon, 1-The Celtics, Rockets were struggling in the postseason versus the Cavs and Sonics two teams that struggled mightly vs. The Bulls, and 2- Like the rest, those teams weren't good enough. Their will never be another clutch player like MJ, Reggie, or Bird. Watching Kobe and Lebron brick free throws is proof
U will get no arguement from me as to MJ's greatness & the 90s Bulls were great too. Where I do have a problem is the MJ fans who seem to think he's way ahead of Bird, Magic, Wilt, Russell, Oscar etc..If Bird didn't have to contend with Magic, Dr J & Moses Malone he would've won 7 or 8 titles. Same goes for Magic. I am nearly positive those same Bulls would've never come away with 6 rings in the 80s era & I am certain MJ wouldn't walk away with 5 MVPs. Not with guys like Bird & Magic .
MMM... with Larry i'll say no simply because after 1986, he started getting the injury bug, Magic and Jordan would have had some battles for MVP. That 76ers team reminds me alot of my 1985 Bears, that year they CRUSHED the competition, after that year however they were good, but that hunger disappeared, they aged and the team may never be the same. I think it's just the fact that MJ did what he did in the 1990s, notice we aren't dicussing Shaq like this:)
Bird's best statistical season was 88. It's wrong to say Bird was washed up after 86. He was unbelievable from 1980 to 88. So, if MJ was drafted in 79 with Bird & Magic, I would bet the MVP would be a tight race between those 3 every season, along with perhaps Dr. J, Moses Malone (early 80s) & Kareem in 1980. I am certain MJ or no player would walk away with 5 MVPs or 6 rings during the 80s.
No I didn't mean washed up I was just saying that in 1987, and 1988, he started missing games and feeling the bruises a little more. Not until the 1992 playoffs, did Larry ever play with that "he's done" vibe.
retard, he was playing on a broken back from 89-92. He missed nearly the entire season of 88-89. Don't post your lack of basketball knowledge on my site, you are the weakest link, goodbye.
Yeah your right, the stats don't lie, Bird 6-0 vs MJ in the playoffs, can you say SWEEEP! two years in a row!!, hahaha. Bird is 23-11 vs MJ lifetime, Bird kicked MJ's ass. Like MJ said at Bird's retiring: "Larry I hear that your retiring, thank goodness, I'm tired of seeing your face. You were in a lot of sad memories for me, but I wish you the best - I think you had a wonderful career even though you ruined a lot of my succesful games against the Celtics.." :)
As for those 92 Blazers. Yes they were solid but I look at those 90s teams as being similar to today's teams. Yeah, they win 60+ games but how good are they? Dallas vs Golden St? Dallas vs Miami? How bout the 09 Cavs? The Suns of this decade? I honeslty feel these 60 win teams today would lose to the .500 clubs back in the 80s. You cannot expand the league & expect teams to remain dense with talent. As for Kobe and Lebron, they're good but I agree with u...They simply aren't Magic, Bird or MJ.
One last point...You mention Barkley, Malone & Kemp. Why didn't they win during MJ's 1st retirement? Why didn't a single team that MJ beat win the Finals during his 1st retirement? Question- If Bird is in the post in place of Karl Malone, do u think Bird would've allowed MJ to steal the ball to win the game? Do u think Bird would've bricked those crucial FTs (in several games) to lose the Finals? If Kobe was playing MJ's Bulls tonight would Kobe take home number 4? Competition my friend = 80s.
Hahaha first and foremost I am a basketball fan my friend, Larry Legend would never have let that happen. I think the early 1990s teams like the sixers, blazers, cavs, etc. were paying and suffering for what free agency would eventually do to the NBA. business took over pride and the in the end the Bulls beat teams with Mourning, Hardaway and Majerle instead of the Bucks, J's 76ers, BK's Knicks with a not washed up Bill Cartwright
BIGTIME all you have to do is look at MJ's Numbers in the 80's MJ averaged over 33ppg on over 50% shooting while also registering a season with 32 8 and 8 while getting defensive player of the year!!! So but Larry Bird said it best in 97 all star game "we were, now he is" they were all top 5 ever but as individuals the numbers don't lie its simple, plus Both Bird and Magic were shadows of them selves by the time they were 34 MJ was as good as ever at that age, that counts too, sorry MJ GOAT IMO
Goes to show you how "great" the competition was that MJ faced prior to retiring that 1 superstar (playing team ball) and a band of CBA scrubs/journeymen/role players beat all these supposedly "tough" Knicks/Blazers/Suns teams a ballhog like MJ (who had Pip in his prime) for a title.
Hakeem is my favourite player, but in 80s ball, 1 superstar alone is not enough to win in that decade, and in the expanded format of the playoffs (sorry Moses!) 1 guy alone couldn't lead a team to a Finals.
so what's your point then? you give credit to that teams, but Bulls weren't winning in clutch moments remember 92 bl;azers game 6. your statement about Knicks of 90s shows you don't know anything about basketball, if not for Jordan Knicks would have been champs,
the 80's, the golden era of the NBA period...you had LA, BOSTON, PHILLY, DETROIT, CHICAGO, ATLANTA, NEW YORK, MILWAUKEE, SAN ANTONIO, DALLAS, PHOENIX, PORTLAND, GOLDEN STATE, eitehr winning the title every year or competing for it consistently...the LAKERS are the greatest tean for a 10 year period..and the fact they lost 4 titles shows how great that era was...I give BULLS much respect, if they play in the 80's, I can see them winning multiple titles, but not 6..
yeah and i am santa claus, get a clue ,nobody said that 80s generally were best decade of basketball, but you are writing like there were no great Bulls teams in 90s, the point is, you are not realistic NBA fan, be more objecive, when writing, nobody said Jordan is a God, but give man the credit for what he did for the game
There is nobody ahead of Larry Bird, Jerry West and Reggie Miller when it comes to taking a buzzer beater. I know MJ fans say otherwise but most of those fans didn't see him in the 80s when he was ball hogging and I would bet 90% never saw West, Bird or Miller. From what I've read, MJ has missed 28 game winners during his career.
Lmao....I am tired of hearing how MJ won w/o a big man. The guy had Pippen doing 5-6 different things on the court.....even bailing his ass out on 'D from 96-98, heck even earlier at times. Could this guy even play with a big man? His own starting center threatened to kill him.
And how much more impact can MJ have than Bird/Magic saving the league from the abyss in 79-80? None that I can see.
"Also Jordan was the first star player to lead his team without a big man presence"
The bad boys never had a great big man. Dave Cowens Celtics never had a big man. 2008 Celtics didn't have a great big man. Bill Russell at 6'9 won rings at the expense of 7+ footer Wilt Chamberlain. Where do you guys come up with your stories?
"Off course Bird could pass the ball he had dennis scott, Bill walton, Robert Parrish Kevin Mchale." - 21Hova21
So I guess those insane passes Bird was making in College were the result of HOF players. MJ fans hate Larry Bird because Bird was the one guy that always got the best of MJ. MJ might have been a better 1 on 1 defender, but Bird had more overall skill on offense than MJ. Bird a better shooter, passer, rebounder, FT shooter, 3pt shooter. Also, Bird and Magic changed the game, not MJ.
"Also Jordan was the first star player to lead his team without a big man presence". - 21Hova21
You don't have a clue of what you're talking about. Dave Cowens was a 6'9 center and dominated a Jabbar led Bucks team to win the Finals. Also, a lot of people consider Bird-Magic better "ALL AROUND" players than MJ. I'm not saying they were the explosive scorer MJ was, but they had more skills on offense. And stop with the BS that MJ changed the game. Bird & Magic changed the game, not MJ.
i would also win a title with Parish, DJ, Ainge McHale, etc tec, all players for HOF, Jordan had fenomenal allround Pippen, by his side, don't be stupid, u are talking about one of the best teams of all time(Bulls) especially team '96 who is the best team ever, a team who would embarass everyone even if you added Chamerlain and Russel to these C's.
"i would also win a title with Parish, DJ, Ainge McHale, etc tec, all players for HOF, Jordan had fenomenal allround Pippen, by his side, don't be stupid"
Did you happen to see what Bird's rookie season WITHOUT Parish, DJ, Ainge, McHale etc etc....Let me refresh your memory. Record improved from 29-53 to 61-21. Furthermore, never said the Bulls were not a great team. They definitely were great and won with defense. But don't think for a second they would win 6 rings in the 80s.
Of course they wouldn't be able to win 6 straight titles in 80s, where I bTW said that? The 80s were for me the best golden decade for basketball in generall, and the reason Chicago couldn't do that is cause they had very bad team to capture title let alone a 6, they needed some kind of test of will that Bad Boys give them, in other words they had to wait their chance, and by 91 that championship season was of one of the best in their history and they would win no matter did Thomas missed 34
Most of those videos were from the 80s, before the titles, and involved the Celtics. Judging by your choice of colors, I believe you are a Celtics fan.
Bird is a great player for sure, and he won a ring in his early career. Magic did too.
But remember not every players can be so lucky to win a ring in early career.
If MJ was a ball hog, you know, then there are a lot of ball hogs today because many swing players try to make avg. 28+ in 2000s and they are not as effective as MJ.
MJ has beat Malone, Barkley, Pistons, Lakers...
All right you may say Lakers had many injured, but do u really think they would win if they were healthy?
MerkinMuffly i have to agree with you on this one because Bird had all of the skills it was just that he couldnt jump very high or wasnt very quick, however he threw some insane passes (ie. behind the back no look bounce pass to parish, between sigma's legs etc.) not to mention he could back up his trash talk all day long lol
great upload man great vid. MJ got burned in the game no one is perfect in the game Not MJ Larry or Magic or anyone else. True jordan did get in his teammates faces but that was what a lot of players from his era were very vocal, Barkley,Ewing, etc. however I would freak out if the call was ever given to Cartwright and his windmill jump shot lol
celtics however just get the ball to larry and get the hell out of his way, lol DJ, hit a game winner against the lakers, McHale was more than capable of hit a few buzzer beaters, ainge, the list goes on
LOL, That's because Bird actually passed the ball to open players for great shots you stupid prick, MJ only cared about padding his stats, that's why Bird kicked his ass even when he scored 63, lol, how's that for a ball hog, FYI retard, you forgot the game winning shot DJ hit against Detroit in game 5 of 87, because Bird knew how to pass the ball.
Every celtics team in the 80s was stacked. Off course Bird could pass the ball he had dennis scott, Bill walton, Robert Parrish Kevin Mchale. Thats a tem of hall of famers. Plus Jordan is a way better defender than Larry Bird. Jordan has hit more clutch shots. Also Jordan was the first star player to lead his team without a big man presence. He changed the game. To say bird is better than Jordan is madness
Oh wait, I see the problem, McHale is inbounding the ball, WTF, Bird was the greatest inbounder ever?!?! No DJ as well, one of the best post feeder's ever.
I've seen the Chief do this at least 3 more times, it's not pretty. The ball should be in Bird or DJ's hands at these times, no excuses. But you notice Bird is not up in the Parish's face like MJ did to his teammates like Cartwright.
"But you notice Bird is not up in the Parish's face like MJ did to his teammates like Cartwright. "
Yeah great call, I recall when Bird assumed coaching duties in Indiana the first thing he said in the press conference: "When I was a player, one thing I hated was being yelled at".
It showed in his coaching as the Pacers had their best winning spell in franchise history in the late 90s/2000 when he coached.
no, not me, I have nothing to do with it, just found it one day. I really don't take any of this seriously, michael's great but not as great as many think.

Larry Bird:
He was an undderrated passer, but he is highly overrated in other areas.
-Horrible defender, defensive Liability
-Terrible mechanic on his jumpshot ,very unfundamental release, ugly shot
-Slow, weak , unathletic player
-3 MVPs in a row (Yet would he even be a top 5 player in today's NBA)
escobar60099 2 years ago
Bird is a Horrible defender, defensive liability. That's why Bird made the defensive all-team 2 years in a row. That's why Bird is 16th all-time in steals per game in the playoffs. That's why Bird won a playoff game off a steal in 87 vs Pistons (watch?v=WNyw8jUo1cA), that's why Bird ended the game and series on a steal against the 76ers in the 85 ECfinals. (watch?v=jSDnfCY-5P4&) Greatest 2 steals in NBA history, and you call him a defensive liability, my conclusion is your a retard.

ordan. Magic Johnson said, "There's Michael Jordan and then there is the rest of us." Larry Bird, following a playoff game where Jordan dropped 63 points on the Boston Celtics in just his second season, appraisal of the young player was: "God disguised as Michael Jordan.

LOL, I can hear Stern pissing himself right now, "OMG, how do we get MJ back, I know, lets move the 3 point line closer in the 94-95 season so MJ will think he's a great outside shooter."
MerkinMuffly 2 years ago

MerkinMuffly 2 years ago
Poor MJ, he couldn't play with the Big Boys when he came in the league. Bird was the Big Boy his rookie year, taking Boston from 2nd worst to first without Parish, DJ, Ainge and Walton. MJ had to wait for the BIg Boys to leave the playground before he could get his sloppy 2nds that were the 90s, hahaha
MerkinMuffly 2 years ago

BigTimePride 2 years ago
They beat a solid blazers team in 1992, Shawn Kemp, Charles Barkley, Karl Malone, all led teams far and eventually lost to the Bulls. To those who say he never beat Bird, Olajuwon, 1-The Celtics, Rockets were struggling in the postseason versus the Cavs and Sonics two teams that struggled mightly vs. The Bulls, and 2- Like the rest, those teams weren't good enough. Their will never be another clutch player like MJ, Reggie, or Bird. Watching Kobe and Lebron brick free throws is proof
Martinl792002 2 years ago
BigTimePride 2 years ago
MMM... with Larry i'll say no simply because after 1986, he started getting the injury bug, Magic and Jordan would have had some battles for MVP.
Martinl792002 2 years ago
Larry Bird's MVP Voting:
1980-92 (4th, 2nd, 2nd, 2nd, 1st, 1st, 1st, 3rd, 2nd, 10th, 9th, 14th)
Bird's best statistical season was 88. It's wrong to say Bird was washed up after 86. He was unbelievable from 1980 to 88. So, if MJ was drafted in 79 with Bird & Magic, I would bet the MVP would be a tight race between those 3 every season, along with perhaps Dr. J, Moses Malone (early 80s) & Kareem in 1980. I am certain MJ or no player would walk away with 5 MVPs or 6 rings during the 80s.
BigTimePride 2 years ago
No I didn't mean washed up I was just saying that in 1987, and 1988, he started missing games and feeling the bruises a little more. Not until the 1992 playoffs, did Larry ever play with that "he's done" vibe.
Martinl792002 2 years ago
retard, he was playing on a broken back from 89-92. He missed nearly the entire season of 88-89. Don't post your lack of basketball knowledge on my site, you are the weakest link, goodbye.

stats dont lie homo why dont u post all the stats to compare to mjs and then go from there
FPSHACKSOWNED 2 years ago
Yeah your right, the stats don't lie, Bird 6-0 vs MJ in the playoffs, can you say SWEEEP! two years in a row!!, hahaha. Bird is 23-11 vs MJ lifetime, Bird kicked MJ's ass. Like MJ said at Bird's retiring: "Larry I hear that your retiring, thank goodness, I'm tired of seeing your face. You were in a lot of sad memories for me, but I wish you the best - I think you had a wonderful career even though you ruined a lot of my succesful games against the Celtics.." :)
MerkinMuffly 2 years ago
As for those 92 Blazers. Yes they were solid but I look at those 90s teams as being similar to today's teams. Yeah, they win 60+ games but how good are they? Dallas vs Golden St? Dallas vs Miami? How bout the 09 Cavs? The Suns of this decade? I honeslty feel these 60 win teams today would lose to the .500 clubs back in the 80s. You cannot expand the league & expect teams to remain dense with talent. As for Kobe and Lebron, they're good but I agree with u...They simply aren't Magic, Bird or MJ.
BigTimePride 2 years ago
One last point...You mention Barkley, Malone & Kemp. Why didn't they win during MJ's 1st retirement? Why didn't a single team that MJ beat win the Finals during his 1st retirement? Question- If Bird is in the post in place of Karl Malone, do u think Bird would've allowed MJ to steal the ball to win the game? Do u think Bird would've bricked those crucial FTs (in several games) to lose the Finals? If Kobe was playing MJ's Bulls tonight would Kobe take home number 4? Competition my friend = 80s.
BigTimePride 2 years ago
Hahaha first and foremost I am a basketball fan my friend, Larry Legend would never have let that happen. I think the early 1990s teams like the sixers, blazers, cavs, etc. were paying and suffering for what free agency would eventually do to the NBA. business took over pride and the in the end the Bulls beat teams with Mourning, Hardaway and Majerle instead of the Bucks, J's 76ers, BK's Knicks with a not washed up Bill Cartwright
Martinl792002 2 years ago
had more talent around them, then teams that made eastern conference finals today.
Martinl792002 2 years ago
BIGTIME all you have to do is look at MJ's Numbers in the 80's MJ averaged over 33ppg on over 50% shooting while also registering a season with 32 8 and 8 while getting defensive player of the year!!! So but Larry Bird said it best in 97 all star game "we were, now he is" they were all top 5 ever but as individuals the numbers don't lie its simple, plus Both Bird and Magic were shadows of them selves by the time they were 34 MJ was as good as ever at that age, that counts too, sorry MJ GOAT IMO
mj45jh23sp33 2 years ago
LOL, yeah, MJ played in the worst league ever, 98 was the only time 5 teams finished with less than 20 wins, the worst talent pool ever in the NBA.
MerkinMuffly 2 years ago
Goes to show you how "great" the competition was that MJ faced prior to retiring that 1 superstar (playing team ball) and a band of CBA scrubs/journeymen/role players beat all these supposedly "tough" Knicks/Blazers/Suns teams a ballhog like MJ (who had Pip in his prime) for a title.
Hakeem is my favourite player, but in 80s ball, 1 superstar alone is not enough to win in that decade, and in the expanded format of the playoffs (sorry Moses!) 1 guy alone couldn't lead a team to a Finals.
FuShengAlex 2 years ago
hey i also hate those nba bullshit today let alone refs, as far as dominant all time teams celtics lakers, Bulls, agree?
Soundtrack1000 2 years ago
so what's your point then? you give credit to that teams, but Bulls weren't winning in clutch moments remember 92 bl;azers game 6. your statement about Knicks of 90s shows you don't know anything about basketball, if not for Jordan Knicks would have been champs,
PS not their fan

the 80's, the golden era of the NBA period...you had LA, BOSTON, PHILLY, DETROIT, CHICAGO, ATLANTA, NEW YORK, MILWAUKEE, SAN ANTONIO, DALLAS, PHOENIX, PORTLAND, GOLDEN STATE, eitehr winning the title every year or competing for it consistently...the LAKERS are the greatest tean for a 10 year period..and the fact they lost 4 titles shows how great that era was...I give BULLS much respect, if they play in the 80's, I can see them winning multiple titles, but not 6..

yeah and i am santa claus, get a clue ,nobody said that 80s generally were best decade of basketball, but you are writing like there were no great Bulls teams in 90s, the point is, you are not realistic NBA fan, be more objecive, when writing, nobody said Jordan is a God, but give man the credit for what he did for the game
Soundtrack1000 2 years ago
There is nobody ahead of Larry Bird, Jerry West and Reggie Miller when it comes to taking a buzzer beater. I know MJ fans say otherwise but most of those fans didn't see him in the 80s when he was ball hogging and I would bet 90% never saw West, Bird or Miller. From what I've read, MJ has missed 28 game winners during his career.
BigTimePride 2 years ago
I'm only going to say one thing about Zeke from Cabin Creek: 46.3 ppg in the 6 game series against Baltimore. Will not be broken.
MerkinMuffly 2 years ago
Lmao....I am tired of hearing how MJ won w/o a big man. The guy had Pippen doing 5-6 different things on the court.....even bailing his ass out on 'D from 96-98, heck even earlier at times. Could this guy even play with a big man? His own starting center threatened to kill him.
And how much more impact can MJ have than Bird/Magic saving the league from the abyss in 79-80? None that I can see.
FuShengAlex 2 years ago
"Also Jordan was the first star player to lead his team without a big man presence"
The bad boys never had a great big man. Dave Cowens Celtics never had a big man. 2008 Celtics didn't have a great big man. Bill Russell at 6'9 won rings at the expense of 7+ footer Wilt Chamberlain. Where do you guys come up with your stories?
BigTimePride 2 years ago
"Off course Bird could pass the ball he had dennis scott, Bill walton, Robert Parrish Kevin Mchale." - 21Hova21
So I guess those insane passes Bird was making in College were the result of HOF players. MJ fans hate Larry Bird because Bird was the one guy that always got the best of MJ. MJ might have been a better 1 on 1 defender, but Bird had more overall skill on offense than MJ. Bird a better shooter, passer, rebounder, FT shooter, 3pt shooter. Also, Bird and Magic changed the game, not MJ.
BigTimePride 2 years ago
"Also Jordan was the first star player to lead his team without a big man presence". - 21Hova21
You don't have a clue of what you're talking about. Dave Cowens was a 6'9 center and dominated a Jabbar led Bucks team to win the Finals. Also, a lot of people consider Bird-Magic better "ALL AROUND" players than MJ. I'm not saying they were the explosive scorer MJ was, but they had more skills on offense. And stop with the BS that MJ changed the game. Bird & Magic changed the game, not MJ.
BigTimePride 2 years ago
i would also win a title with Parish, DJ, Ainge McHale, etc tec, all players for HOF, Jordan had fenomenal allround Pippen, by his side, don't be stupid, u are talking about one of the best teams of all time(Bulls) especially team '96 who is the best team ever, a team who would embarass everyone even if you added Chamerlain and Russel to these C's.
Soundtrack1000 2 years ago
"i would also win a title with Parish, DJ, Ainge McHale, etc tec, all players for HOF, Jordan had fenomenal allround Pippen, by his side, don't be stupid"
Did you happen to see what Bird's rookie season WITHOUT Parish, DJ, Ainge, McHale etc etc....Let me refresh your memory. Record improved from 29-53 to 61-21. Furthermore, never said the Bulls were not a great team. They definitely were great and won with defense. But don't think for a second they would win 6 rings in the 80s.
BigTimePride 2 years ago
Of course they wouldn't be able to win 6 straight titles in 80s, where I bTW said that? The 80s were for me the best golden decade for basketball in generall, and the reason Chicago couldn't do that is cause they had very bad team to capture title let alone a 6, they needed some kind of test of will that Bad Boys give them, in other words they had to wait their chance, and by 91 that championship season was of one of the best in their history and they would win no matter did Thomas missed 34
Soundtrack1000 2 years ago
Most of those videos were from the 80s, before the titles, and involved the Celtics. Judging by your choice of colors, I believe you are a Celtics fan.
eduardo002 2 years ago
Bird is a great player for sure, and he won a ring in his early career. Magic did too.
But remember not every players can be so lucky to win a ring in early career.
If MJ was a ball hog, you know, then there are a lot of ball hogs today because many swing players try to make avg. 28+ in 2000s and they are not as effective as MJ.
MJ has beat Malone, Barkley, Pistons, Lakers...
All right you may say Lakers had many injured, but do u really think they would win if they were healthy?
jimmychuang 2 years ago
MerkinMuffly i have to agree with you on this one because Bird had all of the skills it was just that he couldnt jump very high or wasnt very quick, however he threw some insane passes (ie. behind the back no look bounce pass to parish, between sigma's legs etc.) not to mention he could back up his trash talk all day long lol

great upload man great vid. MJ got burned in the game no one is perfect in the game Not MJ Larry or Magic or anyone else. True jordan did get in his teammates faces but that was what a lot of players from his era were very vocal, Barkley,Ewing, etc. however I would freak out if the call was ever given to Cartwright and his windmill jump shot lol
sopa71479 2 years ago
Fair enough, there wasn't anyone else on that team I would give the ball to.
MerkinMuffly 2 years ago
celtics however just get the ball to larry and get the hell out of his way, lol DJ, hit a game winner against the lakers, McHale was more than capable of hit a few buzzer beaters, ainge, the list goes on
sopa71479 2 years ago
LOL, That's because Bird actually passed the ball to open players for great shots you stupid prick, MJ only cared about padding his stats, that's why Bird kicked his ass even when he scored 63, lol, how's that for a ball hog, FYI retard, you forgot the game winning shot DJ hit against Detroit in game 5 of 87, because Bird knew how to pass the ball.
MerkinMuffly 2 years ago
Every celtics team in the 80s was stacked. Off course Bird could pass the ball he had dennis scott, Bill walton, Robert Parrish Kevin Mchale. Thats a tem of hall of famers. Plus Jordan is a way better defender than Larry Bird. Jordan has hit more clutch shots. Also Jordan was the first star player to lead his team without a big man presence. He changed the game. To say bird is better than Jordan is madness
21Hova21 2 years ago
Oh wait, I see the problem, McHale is inbounding the ball, WTF, Bird was the greatest inbounder ever?!?! No DJ as well, one of the best post feeder's ever.

DJ had retired at the end of the 89-90 season. That shot was early in the 90-91 season.

I've seen the Chief do this at least 3 more times, it's not pretty. The ball should be in Bird or DJ's hands at these times, no excuses. But you notice Bird is not up in the Parish's face like MJ did to his teammates like Cartwright.
