I like this. Libertarian is the ONLY way you should vote. Why in the world, even faced with anything the government will promise you, would you give up Liberty???
Fox news does NOT want Paul as president. They've often said he is an "isolationist" and he can't win. I worry about legalizing drugs, but Ron Paul's outstanding views on other issues is worth taking a chance. I figure drug-users will find what drug they want, legal or not. As far as people calling Paul and "isolationist" Anti-immigrant or intelligent? Before you post, check out this YouTube video about poverty/immigration entitled:
This guy loves talking about "teabagging". I really think he's probably gay which is his choice and perfectly fine, but he doesn't have to keep talking about his favorite sexual acts!
wow, this lady is so fing funny, its so amazing how funny that tea joke was. well,at least she thought she was funny anyways. the left are amazing creatures.they should have their own reality show so that the normal people can watch all the silly little shananagins they will come up with next.they are so entertaining just like the intelligent ones on jersey shore or the smart ghetto trash on flavor of love.it would be the one reality show id be sure to watch.
the problem with the tea parties is the idea of just going out and complaining about being taxed. now there's a democrat for the first time in years in office, and taxes are a big deal even before they've been raised. apparently Iraq and the other spending on the empire, the tax cuts to people who didn't need them and that didn't help the economy, didn't matter. they only started mattering now. And Ron Paul and his ilk haven't come yet to even realize that market dogma is insane and wrong.
As long as the media portrays the tea parties as a Republican event, it can swept away as nonsense. The failure of the media to realize that the tea party movement is primarily made up of third party voters, shows there lack of intelligence. Its funny how the media does its best to demonize those that are smart enough to realize that government spending got us in this mess, therefore, more spending cannot get us out. Carry on with your blind faith in government.....
really, government spending brought down the banks? it started a liquidity freeze? market fundamentalists like Ron Paul deregulated the whole industry practically which led it to implode. These arguments are laughable. no government, just markets will be crash city all day, along with the massive exploitation inherent with capitalism.
Yes, a massive overhaul in government spending, an aggressive foreign policy, fiat currency, an outrageous corporate tax, trade regulation and social programs are all responsible for our economic bubble (which the bailout is creating another larger one), and job loss. Next time you are broke, try taking out 5 credit cards and spending your way back into prosperity; let me know how that works out for you.
i don't do those things, so no worries there, and i wouldn't go to a small dogmatic religious like cult for help, which ayn rand and ron paul supporters seem to be becoming more and more.
As an atheist, I shy away from religious/cult type associations. The thing that I like about Ron Paul, is the simple idea of following the Constitution and the Liberty protecting ideals of Jefferson. He is a politician, no more, no less. What is it about him that you dislike? And , also, who or what ideology do find intelligence in?
@erato99 you couldnt have put it more perfectly, and one year later from your comment, its amazing the amount of people still buying into the leftist garbage and what they think will save this country.
brilliant. a tea bag ron paul blimp... the original tea party of 2007. fund razor for disgruntled conservatives who are looking for someone to blame.
i met a truck driver from KY today. he claimed helpers from Conn. and Mass. were more concerned about sucking dick than unloading his truck... he actually said this.
Ron Paul has been in public service for 40 years, what makes you think he would be effective as a president. Being president takes a lot more than getting support form potheads and low IQ nut-cases. His foreign policy ideas are a joke. Paul thinks if we leave them alone they leave us alone, thats just retarded. Mr. Paul thinks all economic problems lead to the FED and we can fix it with a gold standard. The only problem is not enough gold in the world to back this idea. Ron Paul is an idiot...
I'd agree that with Islamic cranks there clearly not going to stop if we bring the empire home and get a sensible humane foreign policy, but do you really think we need to support almost every dictator on the planet and have a bajillion military bases everywhere? Ron Paul is right about the empire, but he seems to almost be a pacifist or something who won't except much reality on economic issues or jihad.
After the Tea Party interview, CNn reporter Susan Roesgen stripped off her clothes, put on a replica of Napoleon's hat and angrily announced to the crowd, "I gave up my career as Queen of England for this?!" She then insisted it was the voices in her head that told her to use those evil Jose Cuervo breath strips.
The problem is that Ann Cunter gets ripped in every debate. Madcow is very smart Rhodes Scholar caliber. The reason why you always see Libertarians and Republicans getting their asses handed to them in debates is they don't use facts only opinions.
What kind of statement is that? You should look at the footnotes and the research in Ann Coulter's books. I know plenty of libertarians and republicans that use facts in debates. You really believe what you typed?
Ann could put the bible in her footnotes it doesn't matter because her writings are how she interperates the information. How can you back a bigot who calls all arabs "Camel Jockeys" that shows what you value. She is a shock jock type of author who needs to play the bigot to sell books.
I don't back her. I value freedom of speech. And pissing off liberals. :) Nobody will debate issues she writes about, only about some stupid phrase she said.
This is out of touch you are how do you know that you piss anyone off? You haven't said anything worth getting mad over. Ann doesn't talk about any issues she is just a shock commentator.
So have you actually read any of her books or you just assume she doesn't talk about issues. And if you re-read your comments, you would see there is 3 of them, within 9 hours, and in two of them you avoided my point.
And in "pissing off liberals" i meant her, mostly. Obviously something she has said has pissed you off, That's what she does, she's like our Michael Moore, except she's hot and intelligent.
Obviously something I said has given you an itch. Go ahead and reply again, I'm done.
"Go ahead and reply again, I'm done. " Is this your dying statement? When you run out of facts against someone who is smarter than you do you just leave this statement? I didn't see that you made a point you are just ranting. Also, you are mistaking my response for "pissing off." I do wish you well, if you study hard enough maybe some day you can make it into the University Of Phoenix.
The tea party thing was an independent thing, no one can get that strait. And the whole tea bagging jokes.....come on, ya'll pretending like thats funny, get real...
Wow, Rachel, in all her elitist Nazi propaganda pushing glory, is so hip and cool. Its too bad her ratings suck. For the good of America, the same good that the current administration intends when he bows to Saudi Kings, calls vet.s terrorists while banning the term for Islamic Fascists, and nationalizes banks and car companies, her show should be mandated to the People (along with chubby Olbermann). Listen to the cockiness in their voices arrogance is always followed by disaster.
This is why my crew did not participate. Newt Gingrinch and Faux News have no business at a Tea Party. Those crooks at Faux News ridiculed Ron Paul and his principles in the primaries during the debates.
Seems the repubs and others want to take control of populous outrage expressed at the tea parties and steer it away from themselves. They want to blame Obama and focus on taxes, but not those who broke the system-themselves-big banks, big biz and gov.representatives.
The repubs and corps need to admit to having helped create this mess. They need to treat the causes for a cure not complain about the symptoms and blame others.
i had allot of emails about this tea party from libertarian and ron paul support groups as far back as november . you gotta love how fox news is getting the credit for it .
There was a 2 year long tea party from 2007 to 2008.
It was called RON PAUL for president.
I'm sorry that 95% of you CHOSE not to take part (when it COUNTED) only because your heads were so far up W's ass that you couldn't see. Take responsibility for your INACTION. It WAS your choice.
Ron Paul is the only Republican I respected from 2008!! He was one of the very few logical from both sides, including Kucinich!! My sister voted for Ron Paul and I voted for Kucinich last year!
If the Republicans are hoping to win ANYTHING in 2008, they will have to go more liberatarian! They are the only winners on the right!! Even though I'm a true Liberal, I'd rather debate with a libertarian!
My ideal candidate would combine the best aspects of both Paul and Kucinich, and there is already overlap in several key areas - MIC, war on drugs, govt out of people's private lives, being only a few examples. Paul and Kucinich can at least think outside the "party box". That's healthy. We do not need more mainstream Reagan conservatism.
I like this. Libertarian is the ONLY way you should vote. Why in the world, even faced with anything the government will promise you, would you give up Liberty???

The Republicans(that you hear about)like Mitt Romney, McCain & Huckabee are like what the Dems. use to be, like F.D.R., also the Progressives....
These people are mindless, pop culture controlled douches. You must be devolving if this is where you get your info from(mainstream media)
