NY was warned before the election that assberg would do this, but nobody listened. You don't close a school because a few bad apples spoiled it for everyone. Do we kill cancer patients for having tumors half the size of a dime? Of course not, you cut the cancer out...get rid of the bad apples, then concentrate on those you can still help. Instead, assberg is going to throw everyone from these schools into others and overcrowd them...including the cancers that made it bad. NY...YOU WERE WARNED!

Glad to join in; then saw today's Queens Chronicle. Full color front page of 4 kids with headline: "TEST SCORES SOAR." Pg.1 lead story Bloomberg quoted: "The scores are further evidence that after many years of stagnation, since 2002 we've put our schools on the right track." Pg. 8 editorial: " Who deserves the credit?...behind them all stands one man, Mayor Michael Bloomberg." Followed by a Learn NY full page ad: 8 kiddies on a rug/ 1 teacher. "Mayoral Control = Better schools for All." Sick
