At my skool my solo line iz he roared down the road like the devil himself and the boy has the will of the devil himself and the ti moune at mi skool sings way better but dis ti moune sing really good too
in the beginning of "pray" i have a solo version for 'he roared down the road like the devil himself" and every part in the whole play with that tune to it, and i sing it really load and mean like it supposed to be, but everyone else is like, whispering their solos so i'm just like.... yeah....
In my production my sister and I are Little Ti Moune this is one of my favourite musicals of all time i love learning the songs and Prey is my favourite number. Your production looks great, keep uip the good work XD
I was mama when my school did it this past weekend. For the high 'A' I believe it is.. We had our Asaka and Erzulie take it. It sounded really well put together. It will be on youtube soon.
i was amazing...our school and other school will play this musical tomorrow and in this song the high 'A' is a boy singing that,and that is very cool!because he can reach that pitch very cearly!
oh really? every version i've heard has had mama do it, but having ti moune do it is cool. but when it was assigned i wasn't there, i was only the stage manager for this, as i was a senior in high school lol.
We had basically no set. Just platforms upstage and black cubes for the gods to stand on.
Full cast was about 20 people.
BTW, I was Storyteller 1. We didn't do the fire thing like you did. We kinda just started each scene, since we had the first lines most of the time. We'd walk on or upstage and say our line. I think you're idea's cooler though.
Wow that's the same for us! Only our gods sit on chairs on platforms... I am storyteller 1. We are doing are play next week and we still have a lot of empty slots.... WE are having it on the stage in the school cafeteria...!!
Mama Euralie. That's who's written to do it I think. Granted, our Mama was only 12-13, but she still did pretty well I think. After all, it's a high A.
great singing for middle school! better than ours. acting isnt as good though
