Cool collection- I have like 15 tractors (actually i own 3 more at my folks place- almost forgot) of various makes (MTD's- Murrays, a craftsman, Simplicity and a lone wheelhorse)

I got my wheelhorse raider 10 (tecumseh 10hp) for free with no deck- its older and in rough shape,but the tinwork is good, so im going to chop it up and make a racing tractor from it- using go kart rims,16 hp tecumseh( till i blow it up- i hate tecumsehs)

My 'original' attempt at a modified tractor is my wifes craftsman- till i wrecked the transaxle. My 2nd, and current is a 18hp twin briggs 94 murray, as of now its in the 40mph range- with heavy mods/welding on the way, im aiming for 60mph with more tweeking- i have a few more i plan on modifing- a lifted murray and make a cruiser from the craftsman

My original choice was my murrays with full c channel frames- but they run/mow too good at the moment to chop em up. I was considering restoring it, but saw a pic of one all modified, looked sweet, and thats where i got the idea.Ill probably haveta build a whole new frame,the trans and motor wont be used, basically just the tin is all im using. Ill keep the parts in case i come across another one. The original 10HP teccy has a bad magneto- at $135 for a new one. That also swung my reasoning.
