@TheinFamousHelghast the config file worked for source games only, but the driver works for all games that support joysticks.

It's been a few years though so I don't have either of them anymore. Sorry bro.

It wasn't a tutorial, it was showcasing what I did. You were supposed to download the drivers and the config files and follow the directions which were all in the .zip file (which isn't uploaded anymore since the video is so old.)

And calm down ffs.

I got the calibrate to work I thought but for some reason it thinks I'm moving my right analog stick to the right and left it switches

I have spent 3 days trying to get it to work finaly when I do then this happens

so can you tell me whats going on ?

If I remember correctly you need to reverse the numbers for the joypad (aka use negative numbers for the x axis movement). I might be wrong, but I remember doing something like that.

yes, you do have to plug it in thru usb, keep it plugged in at all times.

Last time i checked, im pretty sure the drivers worked with my dualshock 3.

I was referring to the About This Video, the default configuration for HL2 works decently but it would be better if it was around the controls for Resistance. Also, a config file for CSS would be nice but I don't think one came with it.

did the exact same thing with my xbox controller (usb thingy modded)

you just gotta have the drivers so your computer knows what's going on and then bind all the keys/buttons to a function in the game , not that hard :)

No! Valve is releasing HL2 episode 2 with episode one and the orginal HL2. (Vavle is a nice company) Also episodes arnt as long cause the wait between half life and HL2 was 5 years and they dont want people to wait so long.
