  • I remember my Shelby pulled away from you and mine just has a "few" upgrades.

  • How do you keep that monster in a strait line? Sick ride man

  • the Fox Body 5.0 Mustang Notchback at the end was way more impressive than the low 10 sec mach 1.

  • @3O2MuStAnG Are you kiding. he raced for all of 2 sec. He knew the mach was faster and let out like a chicken shit. I doubt they raced long enough to cover an 1/8th mile let alone the quarter mile. Everytime the mach started getting traction and was going to pull that fox in half, the fox driver let out. Race the damn thing. If you get beat you get beat. so what.

  • @digiam42 that´s my point - I found the 5.0 way more impressive as it kept putting its power to the ground (at least halfways) unlike the Mach1. both Stang generations are amazing so I don´t see much of a reason to act like that. never said anything negative about the Mach1. besides - it´s generally not always speed which makes a car "impressive"

  • i thought u were doin a burn out on first up close of gauge cluster til the rpms dropped and speedo kept climbin lol nice car sir

  • that much power is useless on the street.

  • @craig1h this is true...but it's fucking fun as hell

  • Isn't that completely destroying the engine? I am ofcourse talking about the fact the procharger is running the RPM way above red line.

  • @GATOWater that tach is obviously a stock gauge on the cluster, and yes for a stock mach 1, the rev limiter is set a lil over 6k rpm, probably around 6250rpm. But for the aftermarket parts, blower, and tune, the new rev limit is probably around 7300rpm

  • That Fox wernt no Joke... He was spinning and still pulling on the Mach1

  • @JayGeePee1 yeh if they had a prepped track fox would have walked on past him

  • That coupe was so fucking sick. I wish there was a video for him.

  • why an automatic?

  • better for drag racing more consistent shifting

  • on the chevys maybe ...

  • No, On any car with some power....if your running faster than 12s the auto is god.

  • well ... I suppose if you are switchout and put a good tranny in there. there are a lot of auto trannys that just stuck. but I suppose most of those aren't actually left in heavily modded cars

  • Yea, you need upgraded shit...the stock 4r70w in the stangs is a great trans though, they can usually hold some good power stock.

A good valvebody and a converter is all you need.

  • another good thing about having a race built auto is the guaranteee lol cuz if ur in a manual and miss a shift, the following aftermath is ur fault, but if something goes wrong in the built auto u got that guarantee.

  • an automatic tranny is better for drag racing especially with a high stall torque converter..

  • not always the case.

  • Its very, VERY hard to get a M6 or M5 to out launch/out perform off the line. They're normally inconsitent, unless you can get the suspension dialed in, with a 2 step,a and tires that can hook. Then you have to nail each shift perfectly after that.

with an auto all you have to do is stall it up on the brakes, or on the trans brake, our you can just flash stall it and thats it.

  • @zunetrav4 but its not a fun to drive thats why a manual trasmission is so much better and your friend cant drive it.

  • @GoGoggansGo True. It's just all personal preference

  • at a lose for words

  • gotta luv a built mach1

  • nice video but there is no way stanfords car has 940hp and only runs 10.20's

  • Why didn't you record the first run with the Black Shelby on Telegraph Saturday 8-2-2008. If memory serves me correctly I pulled away from you.

  • daaaang. probably did. doesn't seem that fast.

  • i love the way the front wheels hop up when he hits it...fucking power

  • It a 800 hp mach 1, and a 91 coupe with 940 hp

  • ur stupid. and it only pulls 10s? wtf. you can build a 5-600hp mustang that will run 10s ...

  • Sure, it has no interior and is barely street worthy but you could do it. Some of us want to drive our cars, not trailer them everywhere.

  • no full interior ... know someone who has one. its possible. oh and I know someone with a vette running about 550s rwhp who also runs 10s ... full interior. lesson learned.

  • What about gearing? If it still has stock gearing than bravo. But some people want different things from their vehicle. I'm building essentially a pro street engine that's going to just be run on the street. It doesn't make sense but that's what I want!

  • Most guys running supercharger normally won't go with higher gears. Especially those intended for street use. The Mach1 came with 3.55's over the stock Gt's ( correct me if i'm wrong) of 3.27's.

  • @nannygoat415 ok, and i know someone with an 87 oldsmobile that runs 10's....cars come down to preference, what you mod it with is your prerogative

  • @musselman86 most cases yes but when you are talking about a mustang thats good for one thing that you can't even really take a girl in cause it doesn't hardly have seats VS lets say a vette good for drag and tracks AND the girl will not feel like she's crawling into some super cheap 80 for tercel

  • lol classic...

  • Holy shit...

    Um.

    *blink*

  • what the hell is that

  • its a very angry mach1.
