  • I think this would be a great truck for L.A. Citys streets and alleys. It would also handle all the trash I hope they look in to buying one.

  • I totally agree, this would be a perfect fit for LA.

  • Looks like a great hopper and lifter design. The lifter is similar to a Heil Rapid Rail and that design has proven to be very reliable. I also like the Rear Loader style packer, very good idea. This looks like a very efficiant and relable truck and I hope to see WM of Rio Rancho NM or even the City of Albuquerque NM buy a few.

  • This area was one reason for the design of this body. Make no mistake--You will see SCORPIONS!!!...

  • i told my guys about it and they all heard of it supervisor isnt sure its good for all the dead ends ca has he claims its up too the city too decide if the trash company can purchase even 1 or just rent a truck and see how it works out

  • That is very positive. Never pass up an opportunity to move foward! Keep in mind SCORPION is the body portion. The customer will specify the chassis. It will run, drive, turn etc just like their other units. With a SCORPION body mounted on it, their production will increase, and their CPM (cost per mile) will decrease. Our minimal Horsepower draw will increase their fuel economy tremendously!

  • use a mack or condor chassis they have very good turning

  • id like too see this truck here in ca in fact ill take 2 the check is in the mail LOL

  • There you go! We will definitely be swaying operators opinions on ASL's in CA soon!

  • well i heard from a WM person that they were gonna purchase a couple of those but it failed the smog for state of ca and exceeds the height and weight limits which means it wont fit through the dead ends and he said they cost too much

  • Love that one! No large private hauler has had the opportunity to demonstrate this product. Smog has nothing to do with a Refuse Body--chassis portion of unitized system. This product meets height and weight requiments very well, and price point is very attractive. This product allows for more axle variations also, due to the hoist cylinder design--clean chassis rails. Weight foward design allows for even shorter CT for better turning. Ask SCORPION operators for accurate information...

  • How many units have you guys sold?nice vid!

  • great design and very fast

  • You will see the joystick in the next video posting, so keep watching! Thanks for the great comments!

  • This truck is just awesome. I love that packer design! So quiet. I had to crank up the sound on my stereo just to hear the audio. :-P Though that might have been a video issue.

  • This truck gives a lot of the others a lethal sting. This body's awesome, gotta be one of the smoothest and fastest collections up there. Loved that high shot from 6:50 and onwards, worked very well. Also like the demo shots from the different angles at the start and then the unloading and packer shot was great too! Great work on the video, came out terrific! Faved and a 5 star rating...

  • Thanks for the comments. Did you see the ability of the feathered controls at 8:00 to smoothly and very easily pick up that overloaded container??

  • Yes I did see that, a little too smooth :D How do the feathered controls work?

  • Nice as! Pretty quiet truck

  • awesome, I really like this truck,

  • Nice man I would buy this truck!!!
