He didn't want to go to Toronto to lose, he came to make an impact. You can't make an impact in Boston. Nobody wants to play in a city with no passion. Toronto is the most passionate team in the NHL.

how can you blame kessel for peter chiarreli's poor management skills? they couldn't sign kessel because they spent all their money until they were less than 2 million under the cap. you have a 21 year old, 36 goal scorer, and you sign everybody else first? u guys basically 'cut' him from the team, and now you blame him like he demanded a trade while under contract. and by the way...you DO need him. p.s. the cap is expected to shrink next season. hope chiarreli grows a brain before then!
I do agree that they should have signed him. im just saying LUCIC took a big discount and stayed. Kessel could have too. I dont blame him for leaving though.. i can get paid what im worth somewhere else. im there too. i understand.
