  • these are GREAT, I live in Cambodia, but now in USA for a few months. I am an American, and have been learning Khmer for about 6 years. While I am in the states I am teaching a couple people that want to learn. Thanks for putting these on youtube , so I can share them with my students : )

  • Hi Kim, congratulations on your scholarship, that is exciting news. If it is for northern hemisphere summer you're talking about I might be in Cambodia the same time actually as I'm going in August. Anyway, I'm wondering if on one of the new lessons you could teach how to say 'sorry I don't speak Khmer very well'? This would be a good one to have on hand!

  • Thanks for the Khmer lessons. I'm trying to learn and teach my siblings khmer too. I went to Cambodia two times so watch out for the mosquitoes. They are everywhere!!! Anyways i would like to know how to say doctor, nurse, optometrist, pediatrician, lawyers, etc

  • congrats !!! ur gonna have a ball, it's so much fun, try to get to Siem Reap and Kampong Som (the beach) for a few days !!!! Try the frog legs with fresh green pepper corn - yum yum yum There is a great little restaurant called Green Pepper, just check the free tourist guide, its near the National Museum. Try the food court at Soriya shopping center, papaya salad and Durian shakes - yummy.

  • Omg i got so sick last time i was there, came back with a high as fever. You should get injections since its not very hygienic over there and becareful to watch what you eat.   • Congrats on the scholarship! The program seems pretty cool. How were you eligible for the scholarship? Did you have to take 2 years of the Khmer language to be qualified? I may be interested in participating next year, the only problem is that I've already graduated from college.
