Lame. This one will definitely be a miss for me. Still didn't finish Dirt 2 or 3 as they are just a collection of unrelated, repetitive courses (usually mirrored or decent length stages split into 3 small parts). My biggest problem with these games is the lack of knowing who your competitors are. There is simply no tension or build up to racing a series when your opponents change every 3 minutes and no one ever steps up to consistently challenge you for each race and each 'title'.
Seen some more gameplay of it, couple of minutes ago; Certainly not my cup of tea. Waist of Codemasters time in my opinion; Dirt4 was a better choice to be honest...

Bring back Toca Codies, You know its burning away inside every single one of you to develop Toca 4, If 3 was Backwards compatable I sure would still be playing that right now.
They need to drop Colin's name from the dirt titles because its no longer colin mcrae rally its just we'll develop some crap and stick colin's name on it to make it seem better than it is, its hardly respecting colin
They split the series from now on in those more fun style races (this game) and the rally series (the game you guys want :P). Love to play sims but this looks like a lot of fun :)

Considering the latest FlatOut is pure crap, this should be a very good game. Why are you all so negative? You do not like this type of racing, do not buy the game. Does anyone force you? They finally decided to split DiRT into two games, and yet you are still complaining.
Judging by the Steam logo at the end, I would risk saying it will only be available through digital distribution (XBLA and PSN on consoles). I hope so.

@TeamVVV The "rally Devs" are the ones making this game, so its not like they split the team up. Its because Dirt 3 did not sell well at all compared to Dirt 1(which sold very well) and Dirt 2(which sold half of what D1 did) I have lost all hope in CM. I am just glad I still have Richard burns Rally
Looks good, but the crash physics look pretty unsatisfying - like most games where the cars are mostly solid and any actual crash damage is pre-defined. Obviously it's early footage, but I was expecting better. With that said, hopefully it'll be fun nonetheless!
Its good to see Codemasters finally realise their goal for this franchise. Take Colin McRae and turn it into some rubbish that appeals to the American market. Brilliant. *facepalm*
