pre-med is not a program, its just a set of requirements.... it is about 2 semesters in each of the following.. physics, chemistry, math, and biology and the MCAT exam(includes essay, recommendations, etc) that's it. (for most medical schools) however, that is not enough to be accepted considering the competition. If you major in any discipline of applied science, these requirements will be met through pre-major requirements (preparation for major) then the major provides the "extra" needed.
I really doubt that person called them an idiot because they're black - they are. Come on - half study group the study group is on a cell phone? They are discussing very simple, simple concepts. Concepts that don't require a "study group" by most students - "pre-med" students to say the least. Who posted this on here? I'd be embarassed...
Wow, pyrmid...pyridi...pyrinid...PYRIMIDINE!! And did she say "adedine?" Are they seriously studying for an actual college exam? No legit exam asks you "How many hydrogen bonds are there between adenine and thymine?" or Identify such and such as a pyrimidine or purine. Everyone in the sciences considers this stuff as common knowledge. If you think memorizing basic terms in an unproductive study session held through a cell phone conversation will help you on the MCAT, you are in for surprise.
these three idiots will never get into med school, first of all their english is terrible, second they are doing group studying for this easy shit lmao....these morons dont have the mental capacity and or ability to become physicians. thats the truth.
A person's study habits does not reflect their mental capacity. If studying in this manner helps them ace their exams and MCAT and everything else then leave them be. And regardless of their speaking abilities... look at half of the foreign students who come to this country barely able to spit out a complete English sentence and do very well as physicians. Chill
Totally agree. Seems like they're just memorizing random facts as well which will lead to hopelessly bad performance on the MCATs. Orgo will destroy them. I'm curious about how they've done. Perhaps they'll prove us wrong :). The VR and written sections, I suspect, will also destroy them based on their language on the video.
herp derp cytosine and thymine are pyrimidines herp derp oh wait they forgot uracil herp derp

Some of your comments are super wrong...their motivation is all they need.

If you need a study group to learn Chargaff's rules, I doubt that you'll ever go from pre-med to post-med.

I'm pre-med, just entered college. It's fun so far, though I can see how the weeding-out process is inevitable.
