@sfrber2003 Absurd statement. He's not off, he's swinging. He's not a machine like some of the young players these days. And he's "famous" because of his great playing and compositions, well before Garcia days.
This was summer 07 in Bellaire MI. I have about an hour of this show. We got to go to his hotel room and hang out with him and the band after the show!

I recognize Jim Kerwin on bass and Matt Eackle on flute, but he's minus Joe Craven (percussion) and Enrique Coria (acoustic guitar)
