This was such a good movie and the sad thing is that those dumb fucks in that town voted the DA back in office.Years ago the story was on 60 mins and the jurors who were mostly white or Hispanic said they belived that 90% of the towns blacks were selling drugs.The only folks cleared were those who had not already pleaded. The scary thing is that there are tons of variations on this true story across America. This was the rare "cops lie" story that got some amount of justice

Yes I just finished watching this as well and it was very good. The real town is called Hearne Texas and that asshole DA is called John Paschall in real life. He is still in office this very day.He continues to get re-elected. That is very very sad. Its crazy that he is acting like that. And in Dallas Texas the DA there is a black man Craig Watkins who is doing an EXCELLENT job!!!!
