are you retarded or something? your baby lives for 9 months- in fluid. there's no reason why babies couldn't swim. if you've never seen a little baby swim, you can't really suggest that they can't. If put underwater they'll open their eyes, hold their breath an in-built response known as the mammalian dive reflex, stops any water getting into their lungs. only after a year will they lose that ability.
