They certainly enjoy themselves and get some nice touches, but for me, two individualists doing their respective thing doesn't add up entirely. The losses are equal to the gains and the poor old valse is left bruised & out of shape with sudden stop/go spontanaeity! The Polonaise fares better, they actually improve this dreadful piece with their swagger & exaggerations. Enjoyably lively. The girl is gorgeous too; i can imagine sparks flying even when away from the piano!

Exquisite! I attended this concert and it is a delight to relive it. I wonder if ay of the performances with Argerich, like the Cinderella with Pletnev, was filmed as well.
