Don't get me wrong, I was entertained. But I have this thing about movies. No matter on what they're based on, they can always be approached seriously. The whole toy-like world ruined this movie for me.

@wookovar I think that certain uses of symbolism is pretty cool in movies (i.e, Sweeney Todd: The blood was supposed to be over the top like it was a staged play, or in Edward Scissorhands the people lived in a cookie cutter world with solid bright colors) but this movie was defiantly dumb, it ripped off of so many other movies and had bad plot twists.

I saw this movie with my friend and we could find the same looking scenes from other movies.

For example when Snake Eye and Shadow Storm battles the last time it look like Star Wars' Jedi duels.

And the underwater battle looks like the battle from Independence Day.

The plot was everywhere

At least 30-40 min. of the movie was spent setting up the sequel.

Had some good action sequences, but that doesn't make up for piss poor acting, horrible writing, and even worse plot points.

Personally, I thought TF2 sucked. The plot was nonexistent, and there was too much unnecessary innuendos. Not to mention the Twins. Ugh. They annoy the sh*t outta me.

I found G.I. Joe AMAZING. I have an over critical mind, so I have a tendency to tear things apart and analyze them afterwards, movies especially. With G.I. Joe, I didn't. It was sheer entertainment, and I found I was actually pulled into it, rather than sitting in my seat comparing it to other movies, and weighing the plot line and characters. Probably my favourite movie of the summer.
