  • i bet buck o nine mislabled their own song as dkm or fm in the hayday of napster as an attempt to get free publicity and it backfired and got them even less publicity

  • I saw B09 perform this song in the mid 90's. not a Dropkick song at all

  • Nice. This band sounds awesome :3

I kinda knew this wasn't DKM cause DKM doesn't have horns. Flogging doesn't either....so I didn't know who wrote it but now I do :3

  • i don't know why everybody thinks that this song is from dropkick murphys or flogging molly

  • @spastic017 because theyre a bunch of retards?

  • @mattymahone yeah, probably, yes

  • damn straight skippy

  • ITS BUCK O NINE...

man...i never use caps lock..but you made me!

i started listening to them some time ago,and im sure that they're the ones who made it!!!

    ska rox

    punk rox

  • john on vocals is my uncle!

yee BO9 kicks ass! and yes its a cover from flogging

  • this is not there song it is floging mollys song theis is just a cover

  • This is an original Buck-o-Nine song, not a cover of flogging molly or whomever. Buck-o-nine came up with this song years ago. It was sang originally by their bassist Scott Kennerly. I saw him sing this song years ago live at a show. Scott left the band, so now Jon sings it. Dude, it's not flogging molly, get over yourself. What proof do you have??

  • Dude, these people are racist! Thinkin all of us irish people sound alike!lol

  • Wrong.

  • Is it not leagal to film in a concert and then take it in on the web?

  • Yeah, it's legal baby!!

  • SOme people (and myself until recently) thinks that Irish drinking song is a song by dropkick murphys, why is that?

  • Well for several reasons. 1) Dropkick Murphys are a really popular band, they hear Irish, it's a punk/ska song, and they naturally assume it's them. 2) When people download this song off the internet, it's mislabeled Dropkick Murphy's because people rename them incorrectly, 3) Buck-o-nine is just freaking sick dude, one of the greatest bands live that I've ever seen. They rock!!

  • Also he sounds just like the lead singer from the Dropkick Murphys, if you listen to "Walk Away" and "Irish Drinking Song" you can tell their voices are very similar (although in other Buck-O-Nine songs, they do not sound similar.)

  • Excuse me, i mean "The Outcast", not "Walk Away". It's a better sample of his voice.

  • i was always told this was flogging molly, y do people fuck that up so much?

  • because flogging molly is more mainstream.

  • I posted the newest Irish Drinking Song vid live from their concert at Canes on May 23rd, 2008 in San Diego. Check it out, let me know what you think!!

  • Good song, i like it. but i have to say its about as Irish as mcdonalds

  • Is this a cover, or the original?

  • the original!

  • the irish song is an actual song i think. this is their super awsome version of it. butt munch

  • no they covered sum canadian irish band. but on limewire and crap this is the version that everyone has, thats supposedly by dropkick or flogging

  • No way dude, this is buck-o-nine original. It's off their second or first album. No cover, the original, their old bass player Scott Kennerly used to sing it instead of Jon, but that was years ago.

  • amazing.

  • hell ya!

  • hehe...awesomee...

  • Serious awesome song, but the sound quality.... aw what the heck the song makes up for it. 5 Stars

  • what a song dude!
