  • to everyone wondering what the the original sample is, Stanley Clarke - Concerto For Jazz/Rock Orchestra (Pt I) from his 1975 album.

k-murdock is such an underrated producer. big ups

  • This song from 45 seconds makes me just wanna explore some forest or something, or like the place in the picture, I love it.

  • Dope futureistic beat

  • The piano is heavenly

  • that whistle is really similar to something in Phantasy Star its awesome.

  • that whistle is really similar to Phantasy Star its awesome.

  • What song is the whistling from? I heard it in an electro/house song about 10 years ago and never found it again.

  • @NoRCaL2OhNyNe the song your probably thinking about is bob sinclar's *world hold on* but i don't think they sampled that song.

  • @1WonderingApe Oh, no. I found it. Thanks, though! It's Jump by Buzzy Bus.

  • @NoRCaL2OhNyNe That's it but is this the original sample ?

  • CREATIVE!!!!!!!!

  • @iamenfuego"DROP!"

  • I'm keeping the faith...lol...

  • i dunno, i realy love this song, but somehow the warren g regulator wistle pisses me off... kind of like dilla's gobstopper siren, if that makes any sense..

  • @phatlip2 See that picture on the screen of the album art? The album is called The Scenic Route.

  • The flow is ridiculous smooth....and the beats...heh...the beats exquisite!

  • They sampled that from a techno song. I used to slap it as a kid hahaha! Then Warren G and Nate Dogg did as well but they made it all G'Funky. Haha.

  • @NoRCaL2OhNyNe Actually it's from the Beastie Boys "Intergalactic" which i beleive is Rap.

  • @WillandMitchyD Great, good to know. Thanks.

  • @WillandMitchyD I'm not sure If they used the original Beastie sample which was in New Style or the rehash in Intergalactic.

  • @NoRCaL2OhNyNe which sample So far I hear most notably "Keeping the Faith" form De La Soul (which is Bob James' "Sign of the Times" respectively), Beastie Boys' "New Style" and Chet Baker "What would I Do".

  • This song is awesome when your stoned, driving and bumping it

  • Bebop beats were usually pretty fast, esp during spaceship BATTLE scenes.

Those beats were a bit more traditional jazzy, this has much more of an electronic modern jazz vibe.

In any case it's smooth like butter.

  • beat sounds like nujabes and nomak put in one

  • haha, i love them. but then i started to expand my musical horizons and found these guys and bunch of other artists.

  • lol yup, thats also how i got into hip hop

  • cowboy bebop anyone???

    lol

(didnt sample just reminds me of it)

  • I havnt watched that show in years but I remember the songs from that show being a little more slow and jazzy. This is more upbeat. I'm probably missing something though.

  • acouple of them were slower/jazzy just it gives off a vibe "chilling in space chasing something"thats me though

  • Haha, I see where youre coming from.

  • Try Xaltus Cowboy Bebop Tribute. Look it up and tell me what you think.

  • @MrEddieBTV fashoooo g shits dope

  • uh no its from the album "the scenic route"

  • i say The Scenic Route is there best album yet.

  • phiiiiii, phu, phi, phou...

  • is this from their best album ? cuz I want to buy an album from them but don't know which one..

  • Makes me think of Bill Cosby doing the " I love J-E-L-L-O" face. lol

  • this song makes wish I could whistle

  • Dopeness.
