Hadiqa Kiani. Might wanna listen to her album "Roshni". Follow up album was "Rung", which is a mature listener's thing so be careful before you pick it up. Mahi, Jogi, and Dholan are great videos from Rung though. She recently (June, 07) released "Rough Cut", a full length english album. Listen to it only if you like stuff that heavily grows on you. Best tracks there are Living This Lie, Come Lay Down, and So Far Ahead

her next album is in urdu.

problem with the english album was, that when you release one you get compared to ALOT of international artists so in that sense the album fell flat. it also saw so many delays (released 3 years late). also, in my opinion, although she sang it well her voice looks too over trained in it. i mean just look at this video. she sings so naturally. in rough cut her vocals seem forced a bit. a bit too unnatural.
