  • WOW.... at 0:40 - 1:00 It reminds me of 'The Stanton Curve' in the movie Unstoppable :D

  • very nice, are the two first locos athearn?

  • Thats very nice, its just a little to fast on them curves, but other than that its ay OK!Keep up the great work!!!

  • el barto was here

  • damn that thing is high ballin' for a freight train on the curvy tracks in the mountains......

  • Nice layout. As already mentioned, the speed is too high for the tight curves. Nothing over 40 scale mph for the curves. Where is your layout. I live in Seattle but a California transplant from the "Beaumont Hill" area of the SP. Lived next to the train depot and watched the Sugar Beets, Kaiser Steel ore, PFE's and the Sealand unit trains seemingly on a daily basis. Would enjoy seeing an SP layout.

  • wow pre dcc

  • Slow it down!... you're gonna break the crew's necks going around those curves.

  • i have same

  • i havent seen a SP SD70M in ages. very nice.

  • Where in Spokane is this layout? I'm in CDA and would love to see this in person!

  • Another SP old school fan, thank you neighbor, keep those trains a rollin!

  • Sexy!

  • yeah.

  • This club layout has been dismantled :(

  • really nice but how fast are you going in scale slow down just a nitch and it would look great remember its a drag not a race

  • I agree.. too fast but a very nice model.

  • im making a tunnel for my railroad. it wont look as good as foam but it will still look good. im about half way through. first u get chicken wire and make the frame of the tunnel. then u make the first layer with PAPER MACHE. after that first layer dries u put on a second layer as reinforcement. u can put on as many layers as u want as long as u have enough stuff. when that dries u paint it then secure it down where u want. make sure u can get it back up so u can change that track if u want to.

  • looks good

  • it is not a mpassenger train it is a frieght train slow it down

  • sorry i add an m

  • Cameraman, that was a club layout, and there are club layouts in most cities, just ask your local hobby shop where you can find them. HO scale is the most popular scale, and would be the least expensive for a beginner. Talk with the members of the local model railroad club for tips and suggestions on what to buy. This hobby can be as expensive or as cheap as you want it be. There are numerous train shows held all around the country every year where you can find some sweet deals on equipment.

  • how long did it take u to make the layout? did it cost heaps because I want to get into model trains. Do HO scale trains cost more? Tell me everything you know.

  • Love and miss the Espee! Used to watch switching all day long some days in San Bernardino.

  • A little too fast for me though. You must like to hi ball your trains alot, slow it down to a more realistic speed.

  • very realistic layout....

  • dam that is fast. It might even be to fast for the little guys to get on & off moving equipment

  • You should "patch" that SD70M with UP numbers:P I only run my Z-trains at that speed but its ok its ur train do what you like!!

  • I own 308 locomotives. 190 of them Southern Pacific. And I don't run any of them that fast. Slow it down and it'll be better.

  • Excellent job! That is some nice looking SP equipment.

  • Odds are he owns more than engines alone, thus making it equipment, dumbass.

  • Great Layout Really Nice, I've Always Loved The SP locos

  • what is the name of the club and what state is it in

  • I'd probably have the trains running a little slower. It would make them look way more awesome...

  • I agree with you

  • I agree

  • Nothing worse than sharp un-superevelated curves

  • Great work! video is great, it just needs to be a little longer.
