The whole thing is fabricated, and the roots of it go back at least as far as 1916 when environmental crisis was anticipated as a substitute for the economic engine of war. SEARCH YOUTUBE: "hoax alien invasion planned" - references a 1916 rosicrusian book where the environment is proposed along with an an "outside threat" (alien invasion) as a means to control the masses.

I've read the "treaty" - actually a draft paper - and did not find a reference to a one-government policy. Monckton relies on people not reading it for themselves. Page 18 refers to a government being instated for the purposes of international law, which countries then sign up to. It's the same as the Geneva convention - it is binding, yes; that's the whole idea of international law.

A taxation system has always been used in some form and the Bible speaks for it as well. Taxes were used then and ought to be used today to help those in need. Public Health Care is one example, sharing our technology and wealth with less developed countries is another. When we do, it is a win-win situation.
The bible does not speak FOR taxes, only that they existed and should be paid to remain in accordance with the law. The bible does not ANYWHERE give the impression that Christian charity should be abdicated to the government. that is a ridiculous misinterpretation of everything the Bible stands for. The government of any country has NEVER been able to do the amount of good that well intentioned people and private organizations have done over the centuries to help people.
The Bible DOES speak of and for taxes frequently. The whole tithing system is a form of taxation, though the word "tax" is not used until much later. In the early days the priesthood/tabernacle/temple was synonymous with the government and it was to that system the tithe should go. This to support the tribe of Levi, who had no part of the Promised land/no posessions. (Also read Malachi 3:10)

I know my church alone constantly does outreach not only into the community but with no less than 100 mission trips around the world each and every year. No, not people who go, this is how many teams of people go out each and every year to help with disaster relief, rebuild homes and communities, build churches, supply medical support and much more.

I pay more in taxes than a lot of people make. Why should I be penalized for my hard work? Are you at all aware of what state of development China was in 20 years ago, compared to the US? And are you telling me that China should restrict their CO2 outlet because of this great increase over the past 20 years, but the US should not, even though the average American is responsible for 4 times the amount of CO2?
As far as I understand in China and India wont sign the agreement. Together they produce about 60 percent of the world's CO2. So we are going to make countries(mostly ourselves) financially responsible to other countries to try to mitigate 40% of the problem (if it even is a problem). So we are going to go into debt, lose industry and jobs (just what our economy needs, right?) and subjugate ourselves to the United Nations. And the point is the Global Warming could be a complete farce.
And of course the Americans consume more on average than the Chinese - there are billions of Chinese who still live in abject poverty in remote provinces. That slants their average quite a bit. But look at their cities - they are the same as us if not worse. 20 or 30 years ago Beijing was wall to wall bicycles - not a car in sight. Today it is worse than NYC or LA. It is not at best a guess. Yes it is true, that not all research points towards CO2 being the cause of Global Warming and some says that it is not a problem at all. Most research however DOES point towards CO2 being a huge problem. To NOT change our way of living and to NOT help other countries to develop in a more environmental friendly way is, in my opinion a terrible mistake that will jeopardize all future generations and increase the risk of worldwide military conflicts.

Hopefully that's not the case, but it never hurts to try. I just feel like we need to try and do what we can to keep our constitutional rights. I've read the "treaty" - actually a draft paper - and did not find a reference to a one-government policy. Monckton relies on people not reading it for themselves. Page 18 refers to a government being instated for the purposes of international law, which countries then sign up to. It's the same as the Geneva convention - it is binding, yes; that's the whole idea of international law.

A taxation system has always been used in some form and the Bible speaks for it as well. Taxes were used then and ought to be used today to help those in need. Public Health Care is one example, sharing our technology and wealth with less developed countries is another. When we do, it is a win-win situation.

The Bible DOES speak of and for taxes frequently. The whole tithing system is a form of taxation, though the word "tax" is not used until much later. In the early days the priesthood/tabernacle/temple was synonymous with the government and it was to that system the tithe should go. This to support the tribe of Levi, who had no part of the Promised land/no posessions. (Also read Malachi 3:10)

I know my church alone constantly does outreach not only into the community but with no less than 100 mission trips around the world each and every year. To address your rich and greedy statement. I grew up in a lower middle class family. We struggled but we didn't ask for hand outs. I worked very hard and have built a successful business. I pay more in taxes than a lot of people make. Why should I be penalized for my hard work? Why should I pay a larger percentage of my hard earned income just because I busted my tail to become successful while joe blow down the street sits on his butt and collects welfare because he is too lazy to work??

And are you telling me that China should restrict their CO2 outlet because of this great increase over the past 20 years, but the US should not, even though the average American is responsible for 4 times the amount of CO2?

As far as I understand in China and India wont sign the agreement. Together they produce about 60 percent of the world's CO2. So we are going to make countries(mostly ourselves) financially responsible to other countries to try to mitigate 40% of the problem (if it even is a problem). So we are going to go into debt, lose industry and jobs (just what our economy needs, right?) and subjugate ourselves to the United Nations. And the point is the Global Warming could be a complete farce.

And of course the Americans consume more on average than the Chinese - there are billions of Chinese who still live in abject poverty in remote provinces. That slants their average quite a bit. But look at their cities - they are the same as us if not worse. 20 or 30 years ago Beijing was wall to wall bicycles - not a car in sight. Today it is worse than NYC or LA. Their industry is a nightmare. People can make numbers say anything. I know. I used to do it. You have to be careful.

There is a point to what you say - most of it. But that leaves you with the burden of proof with regard to the claim that Global Warming is caused by CO2. And you wont be able to prove it. It is conjecture. So youre willing to make us financially liable for something that is at best a guess?? Thats weird. I dont get it at all. The whole idea of it to me is absurd. What for? Its crazy.

It is not at best a guess. Yes it is true, that not all research points towards CO2 being the cause of Global Warming and some says that it is not a problem at all. Most research however DOES point towards CO2 being a huge problem. To NOT change our way of living and to NOT help other countries to develop in a more environmental friendly way is, in my opinion a terrible mistake that will jeopardize all future generations and increase the risk of worldwide military conflicts.

Thank you for acknowledging that there is disagreement about the climate. Perhaps I am overly sensitive to people trying to scare me into something. However, CO2 is NOT a pollutant. Half of the ecosphere depends on it, right? Yes the pollution is horrible, but CO2 is NOT pollution. The poisoning of our air, water and food supply - these are huge problems. Not CO2.
