  • Astonishing! They were so young!

  • love the unibrow

  • Paul rodgers is vocally shit, he's from middlesbrough just like me and i can blow this man off the stage, i've got more phlegm in me throat, seriously try singing like him, i've been doing it for years and he's so fucking hard to copy, his gaps, vocal range and just being a fucking nuisance pisses me off. But i am quite close. Rodgers you are a leg end.

  • "i was born by the river, just like this river iv'e been movin ever since" that is the best damn opening line in a song ever. in my opinion a dead tie with "hte hunter" as free's best songs, it's just so damn dirty and sick!

  • @flyvibe71 check out Buffalo's cover so be grooved to tears

  • "listen!"

  • BEST BAND EVER.

  • One word comes to mind when I hear this riff: SWAGGER!

  • @0:30 so easy a caveman could do it! (far right)

  • Easily in my top 3 singles of all time. One of the most unrecognised bands of its time, Kossof and Rodgers; an amazing partnership!

  • @Zeppelinfan333 I agree Kossof and Rogers xx

  • Incredible!!

  • Heard Maidens cover so I had to listen to this.

Less Metal and more blues-rock. I like it that way to.

  • what about the sustain on Kossofs guitar solo? Awesome.

  • best blues, rock band ever

  • these are the tops from all those who saw them a brid spa in the the late sixties

  • Best Kossoff solo along with "Worry"...when he is sitting on the bed on the album inner sleeve his fingers are like pencils ..by the Heartbreaker album he was so wrecked by the drugs they had to cut out most of his "playing"

  • Incredible song by an incredible band!!

  • many moons ago...rockin around my bedroom - wondering what the big wide world had in store....& it's all been great! : )

  • Saw them first at Argus butterfly Peterlee about 1969 then all over the place.Remember them mostly at Sunderland Locarno and the Rink, and Redcar Coatham, great times, excellent band very underated.

  • Briliantisimo! ta for posting x

  • Possibly the best vocals ever by an English singer - phrased to perfection and with a razor edge

  • I love that riff!! xD

  • Cool song and band remember them with great pleasure!!!
